If this is real (and I have serious doubts that it is) some idiot brother is about to find out exactly how angry his sister can get and how fast she can get there.
Ok… I couldn’t help looking at the visible comments in the screenshot.
And now I’m going to be wondering why, if I’m understanding correctly, the second person, responding to an informative comment about Diamond Head,
… offered her opinion that the obviously at least half-mile wide volcano crater, with roads and buildings inside, was actually in the trunk of a petrified tree.
Interesting video. Freddy doesn’t seem like he’s with the band. The clothing, hair, mannerism are two different worlds, just sharing a “ride”.
I love the music of Queen, but of the concerts I saw when I was in college, that was the most forgettable. When the movie came out, I told my wife I’d seen them live, she asked what they were like and I started to think maybe I hadn’t actually seen them, but I found my ticket stub: $7.50 in 1978. All I remember was ‘loud’.
I hope you see this in time if you’re a Seattle fan. Try this site.
This is the site I watch the Blue Jays on.
For the first time (and I’ve been using it for about six years / and a name change / there is a bit of clutter, but nothing serious.
The Mariners play Cleveland at 1:10 p.m. your time today and the other games you can watch are listed on the schedule.
Pay no attention to the countdown times, they’ve been wonky for all the time I’ve been there, look up the MLB schedules for the team(s) you want.
I’m oscillating, temperature-wise…
About 97.2 °F now (noon, and I was active before taking it), 97.9 this morning (still been in bed).
The days before: Fever from 99.5 to 101.7 back and forth…
Thursday I wasn’t feeling well (coughing the whole night before with no fever yet); besides being tired and hoarse, I feel not too bad.
My husband was sick, too, but after two days mostly sleeping (Monday and Tuesday) he managed to get some urgent groceries this Friday. I had to convince him not to overstrain himself. Still tired, too.
We drink enough. Little appetite, but getting better. I do cook.
On the bright side: I’ve lost a little weight… 😉
Hi Tigressy. No doubt you’ll live up to your name and push through it. But I feel for you, being sick… sucks!
I’m sending wishes for a speedy recovery.
That sounds like the “crud” a bunch of us got last November. Worse than a cold but not as bad as the flu. Feeling sick was only for a few days, but it took a week or more to fully recover our energy. We were mostly older adults and the few younger ones who also got sick only had the advantage of a shorter recovery period of only a few days.
.
Awww…
In a photo the little one looks like an adorable pet…
Till you realize he’s probably 4 feet tall and 400 pounds already, and by a year old, will weigh half a ton or so.
That’s a lot of elephant kibble to buy.
….
And where will he sleep when he’s a 5 ton teenager?
If he wants to borrow the car, who’s gonna stop him?
hahahaahhhaaa!
Chicago, IL — 1910
wow….. didn’t change at all.
If this is real (and I have serious doubts that it is) some idiot brother is about to find out exactly how angry his sister can get and how fast she can get there.
Great prank. Or the start of a great chase scene.
April Fool!
Now you see, I can laugh at a cruel Cleo puzzle with no differences, as a practical joke…
But this kind of thing, never.
Summer camp pranks… like short-sheeting beds, or pouring a glass of water in them… glue in your shoes… were a nightmare to me.
…
Laurel and Hardy, not slapstick; Shemp, not Curly Joe.
I’m not a fan of “practical” jokes. I’m not sure what was used, but even if it’s “just” flour, the heating coils could ignite it.
That was my 2nd thought. Dust explosion!
..
This is not Jupiter.
Who would have thought.
There are no geese on Jupiter (I think…)
Looks to me like an extract from an image of marshland somewhere.
Yes, resolution is (I think purposely) bad, to enhance the deception, but it’s actually a photo of a marsh, with what seem to be ducks swimming about.
The circular framing and added shadows make it look like a planet.
Strangely, my initial thought was that it was an agate cabochon.
I saw the marsh before I realized what it was supposed to look like..

Okaaaay….
I don’t think I ever realized this song was from Queen!
Freddy Mercury had an amazing voice, which I guess I should have recognized… but I may have assumed a woman was singing it.
Oops.
There’s no way the songs themselves have anything in common, but not recognizing the artist reminded me of a recent earworm.
This one is ten or a dozen years old, and I had never paid much attention to it…. I’m not a big country fan, though I do like some of it a lot.
….
But a month or so ago it went on repeat in the music played in the supermarket or wherever…
I kept hearing it until it became an earworm and I actually started to like it…
I finally used Shazam… a phone app that identifies music… to find out who it was….
I never ever would have guessed!

Eeep. Louie appears to be carrying a bit of rage with him today.
Komodo Dragons….dancin’!!
“Kevin! Dude! Is that you?! I haven’t seen you since graduation! What’s shakin’?”
I’ve seen that attack someplace before.
A couple, actually.
BASEBALL!
I wish i could watch a few games.
Why not?
No tv service.
I can’t get broadcast on the coast and i can’t afford cable.

best line of your whole comment—‘but getting better’
hope all this goes away quickly
Thanks!
How awful for you. Hope you are all better soon!
Thank you!
you get better soon, ya hear?
I try.

Let’s hope so…
I wish I could send you some chicken soup. But it would probably be cold by the time it got to Munich.
Reheating it wouldn’t be a problem…
The Turkish grocery store literally down the street and just around that corner sells excellent fresh chicken legs for little money.
It’s good that you two can self care together. 🙂
And do just that. Take care of yourself!
And it’s the return of the Evil White Cat…
For some reason he looks kinda like Heathcliff from behind.
When I was posting a music video earlier, I thought maybe I’d post “The Cat Came Back” for the EWC…
but I couldn’t find the simple folksy version I like, and I didn’t like the versions I did find.
…
And of course he’ll be gone anyway, as soon as Cleo runs him off, right?
Um… right?
I flat out just stole that pose from Heathcliff.
Eyebeam did too. With Peaches.
Oops… Sorry I mentioned the similarity!
the first time I ran this I gave credit to Heathcliff, I guess this time I wasn’t feeling so magnanimous
I didn’t remember that, overtly, but maybe it was floating around in my subconscious, prompting me to notice the resemblance.
Normally I wouldn’t even point out something like that, so I don’t know why I did.
A poke from that fuzzy half-memory may have made me do it!
mMy favorite version.
Oh yeah… I forgot we had that version here on Cleo once before. Maybe you posted it then?
I wasn’t looking at long cartoons… I just wanted a simple folksy theme for the EWC.
But I do like this one.
my favorite quote of the day………..
”if that big fat white blob ball of fur comes back, just let me know”
That would be the title of my first book of Cleo cartoons
