On mycomicshop.com I found this:
“Driven insane without her bracelets of submission, Wonder Woman must escape a prison for super-villains and maintain her temper as Diana Prince; meanwhile, the people of New York City begin to tire of Mars’ petulance.”
So she’s out of character, but it’s part of the plot.
I’m leaving these U.R.L.s in “raw” form so you can copy them easily and read the comics associated with them.
nighthawks’ posting is actually the cover for part two of the three part (rather bland, in my opinion) story.

I thought for a moment that maybe it was a falcon, but realized it has an owl’s face, not a falcon’s or a hawk’s.
Searching through other images, I found that this appears to be a Eurasian Eagle-owl, which is a species of owl, not an eagle.
They are the largest to third largest species of owl, depending on whether you go by length, bulk, or weight.
Females are larger than males and can have a wingspan of just over six feet!

Occasional ones have been domesticated, as this one appears to be… one source says some are kept for pest control.
They eat rodents and also deter nesting gulls.
Yikes! Looks to me like they would deter a lot of things.

Must be folks headed to the Cape for the weekend.
There was a movie in the 90s(?) about an older fellow who rode his lawnmower through several states in the Midwest to go visit his ailing brother.
I think his name was Alvin Straight.
Then around the turn of this century, a younger (but not young) guy actually rode his lawnmower from San Francisco to New York. I saw him on the news.
This fellow, however, looks like he might just be working, not traveling, and before all that, in the 1950’s.
Hes the guy who actually mows the grass in these highway meridians.
Dick Sargent, the artist, not to be confused with the actor, did a lot of Saturday Evening Post covers… This is probably the art for one of them.
Either the History Channel or The Travel Channel (I forget which) did a story on him a couple of weeks ago.
