The ones that are not pink are young. What they eat hasn’t stained their feathers yet.
I don’t remember magazine i read about it in, but if they get a substitute diet, no matter how nutritious, they will loose the pink. It happened in a lot of early zoos.

Tiny shrimps/prawns.

Dried red bell pepper powder works. That’s what they use at the zoo here in Munich (Hellabrunn).

Ohh… so my diet lacks enough chocolate…

and I’d better eat more of it to make my hair brown again.

Dark chocolate, cos it was dark brown.

And tomatoes, to make it reddish.

It’ll be a sacrifice… but…

A review of      “THE BEAST FROM 20,000 FATHOMS”

Edited in at10:04 hrs. E.D.T.

I just did the math; 20,000 fathoms is 22.7272727272….(truncated) miles deep.
The Mariana Trench is only 6.85625 miles deep. Hollywood has successfully kept the lid on where this 20,000 fathom place is since 1953 (maybe since 1952 because of shooting time).

I don’t understand why people think Godzilla was angry. Just look at him. He’s smiling from ear to ear.

I remember Eres tu getting airplay on the radio when I was in HS. My friends and I liked the song a lot better than some of the English language stuff that were hits at the time. The fact we lived in a suburb of NYC probably explains why a Spanish language song got airtime in the first place. Sent the link to those friends for whom I have an email.

Grace “.. the face”, eh? This Wednesday Addams-looking girl’s green eyes are the only hint of color on an otherwise classic black and white noir train ride. Did someone say “dead giveaway?”

I just rested my eyes for a minute

And now it’s somehow the middle of the night…

and we’re clickety-clacking our way through another bit of the mystery… and (gasp) another suspect on the Midnight Express!

Yikes… those eyes.…. those eyes.

Where does she come from?
What has she seen?

More importantly…. at least for this plot…. what has she done?

Of course, we don’t want to be profiling, here.

Just because somebody has a snarly disposition, an other-worldly pallor, and a glare that could probably stop the train on its own….

coupled with the hollow-eyed look of the damned….

we shouldn’t automatically be suspicious…

Um… should we?
(gulp.)

Golly.

Saaay... I wonder whether the dining car is still open…
Yup… I think I’ll just…

Oh… right…. locked. This car is locked… and I can’t…um….

All r r right…. b…b-back to my own compartment, then…
uh… right-o.

We’re… p-p-perfectly s-safe.
