“The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” encompasses so many loves and losses for most of us. It was written by Ewan MacColl for Peggy Seeger (his third wife).
A great bunch of additional stuff. Never saw the “Vincent” video before, very cool. And if only Roberta Flack were a basset, her howls would make us all cry.
I used “Killing Me Softly” in an Anthropology class to help students understand the book, “Sorrow of the Lonely and the Burning of the Dancers,” stressing the importance of ambiguity in the arts, and the need for people to be able see themselves in it, somewhere. It was an intro class so the section on the arts was brief, but many students really got it.
With an external viewer – yes. I thought you meant to post the animated version from the size of it.
I used shotwell viewer and here’s the image (exported from there as .png):

Pete Seeger’s half-sister. Neat!
Awright — you made me go back and listen to it, now my monitor is all blurry…
Pops up in my “To Play” list every coupla months. Hard to play: You have to do kind of a sweeping harp-like effect.
If you drink applejack do you suffer ciderfects?
Keep that up, and your reputation will suffer downward slide effects.
You think I still have some reputation to lose?
You’ll always have your reputation as a bad example to fall back on.
only if you use a blackjack chaser.
Boo! 😀
😁 🤣 😁 🤣 😂
You see, Claude… saying that stuff to Cleo causes snide effects.
Cleo knows when to groan and exit stage left.

Good morning Balladeers, (((((Plods))))) and Miss Susan.
It’s only been less 4 hours since my first shot… I don’t want to jinx it.

Good morning, Cleopeeps!
If I printed out all of the side effects of my scrips, they’d be almost as long as the CVS receipt I get when I pay for them.
Guess I’ll put on my big ‘S’ jeans and try not to waste any blueberry pie on my poetry book.
Y’all be healthy, my friends. (((((HUGz for EVERYBODY!)))))
Stel’s Fav

Already? You just left GC a few short months ago. It was years before you got fed up with them.
Okay, I’ll bite. What were we looking at?

In the fifth panel, we see Clara punching Claude in the side and asking him, “Is there a side effect now”?
Funny!
