I remember when it was about $5, when that was money… enough to get dinner in some restaurants.
You mostly didn’t rent a movie for solitary viewing cos you could see it in the theater for less.
Nobody I knew had a player… You rented one along with the movie.
My brother had two kids… one rental place had a deal.
A player and three movies for three nights, for something like $20, including a “free” package of JiffyPop.
I’d sometimes go watch a movie one of the nights.
The catch was that on the third night, you had to drive to the store and put everything in their drop box before they opened the next day… and the fees added up if you didn’t
If you look at the shadows on the slopes you can figure out that it’s convex, esp the shadow on the object at the12:00 position. It is deceptive though, a reminder to check what we “know” to be true.
I believe I’ve located all ten differences today. I bet you thought you would trip me up with the old ten instead of nine dodge, but hah! This time, I was ready for you!
The central character is in an Asian font, and I don’t know about the “hands”.
I don’t type it.
Most virtual keyboards have a key for emoticons/emoji, and when you use it there are tabs for different categories.
There will either be a tab for text emojis, or it’ll be a separate category, along with gifs and stickers. The symbol to click will be a text “smiley” :-)
If you do, you’ll find tons of “shruggies”…. ¯\_༼ᴼل͜ᴼ༽_/¯ ¯\(°_o)/¯ ┐(‘~`;)┌ 乁( •_• )ㄏ
But I prefer the most common one ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Hustling. Must be food involved.
Warsaw-1944
War! What is it good for…?
Gruesome.
Gosh.
Surely there are pictures in the world that don’t involve weapons, warplanes, and disasters!
sorry.
if an image is interesting to me, or funny, or thought-provoking I post it.
I get it.
A fine example of the taxidermist’s art…
Is his head up in the top picture?
I didn’t think he was in the same position in both.
Chocolate moose.
from ‘Top Secret’
(sigh)
—bad joke? bad reference ? bad image? too obvious?
R.i.p. Val Kilmer.
ahhhh..ditto. 65 is way too young
Look!
An IKEA!
The crew from IKEA:
AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!!!
Um… I think maybe I’m just a wee bit too early.
I saw tomorrow’s date, but it’s only 5:45pm PDT
I’ll … uh.. make dinner and come back when the strip is posted.
Backing out the door now…. shhh… just pretend you didn’t see me
hm…I thought sure there was someone there …must be my imagination
Oh!
You posted all that while I was typing!
I’ll still make dinner and come back…. I’ll even bring the puzzle solution!
(First world problem: My autocorrect keeps changing “solution” into “doll muffin”. Sigh…)
So you’ll bring the doll muffin then?
If the doll will let go of it.
…
I really enjoy these
do you mean paintings or specifically doggie paintings?
They’re better on black velvet…
I thought that was for clowns and Elvis.
..

There seem to be a few extra / missing pieces here.
Doesn’t look like Shrek to me…
Where’s the guy standing in front of the tank?
Yes, but it’s funnier the other way.
I reasonably sure it’s based on this.

I need one of those in my laundry basket…
“That shot is off target. But Fluffy puts in the rebound!”
One of my favorite videos.
Grant Wood
The artist forgot the disaster in this one…
Grant Wood – “Spring in Town”.
His painting has a way of adding deep shadows and different levels to things, that may or may not be actually flat…
Like the lawns across the street in the background, and the highway in yesterday’s painting.
Rome?

The Citadel of Allepo, in Syria.
But what’s a couple thousand miles between friends?
BTW it looks concave here but I thought it was convex.
I’ll have to find another picture.
If you look at the shadows on the slopes you can figure out that it’s convex, esp the shadow on the object at the12:00 position. It is deceptive though, a reminder to check what we “know” to be true.
I’ve rotated the picture 180°, it makes the raised centre and the ditches easier to see.
Amazing what rotating it did!
Now i see it.
Yes… Thanks!
I had decided it was probably upside down, because it looked like l the back perspective was longer than the front….
but I got distracted from getting back here.
it’s all good…that’s why I typed in a question mark—I had the image but without references
The cast of
At the moment
I gotta find a label.
Oops Liverlips already did.
I gotta refresh more!

Score!
Actually Stel liked to do ten. I asked her why and she said ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
never saw that one (shrugging happy face) before—pretty cool!
A whole slew of ‘em, here:

Would you like to tell us the keystrokes?
there’s a couple of strange looking characters–
The central character is in an Asian font, and I don’t know about the “hands”.
I don’t type it.

Okay, all you restless hordes waiting for the puzzle solution… fret no more!
At long last, I has brung it!
BTW, I like this picture. It was actually a New Yorker cover… another one from StelBel.
The pampered city dogs look like they don’t know what they would do with a cat even if they could catch one.
You, however, should do your best to catch ten differences, before you
You don’t want all those dogs after you, in case they figure out what they’re doing.
thankfully, the hordes are not restless today
We’re too busy hoarding.
I was out Saturday, so didn’t look too close to the puzzle until this morning (Sunday).
I found nine.
Dog and Duck.
Which happens to be a reasonably common Pub name over here.
But wouldn’t this pub be named “The Duck and Dog?”
maybe if you flipped it:

Depends how many you’ve downed!
