If you do mean to ask why you ARE the only one saying it…
First, I’m not the arbiter of such things.
That right belongs to Nighthawks, who created the puzzle.
I’m just the solution finder and poster.
…
I do have an opinion, which is that it’s only one difference, for two reasons.
First, I’ve always believed, and last Saturday, Nighthawks answered a similar question the same way I think of it, that if two changes happen to one object, in this case, Claude’s shirt front, it’s one difference.
Second… his collar doesn’t actually change anyway.
You see a curved line under his chin in panel 1 that could be a seam, ie the edge of a rib knit collar, only partially drawn.
A lot of things in cartoons are partially suggested.
Or, it could be a short wrinkle caused by Claude’s chin or his body shape… or just a little artistic flourish.
In any case, when the jacket is zipped in panel 2, the edges of the jacket cover the sides up to that point.
Does it continue under the jacket where we can’t see it?
We can’t tell, but probably not, as it’s meant to be the same line as in panel 1.
….
The line you think you see is the edges of the jacket, not a continuation of the collar.
Could you get out your micrometer and find a tiny discrepancy in the length of that middle line?
Probably, but the artist is human, not using precision drafting tools, and we dont count such tiny glitches as differences.
.
You poor thing.
Looks like IVF gone crazy!
,
..
It’s a long and winding road….
that reminds me of a song….
Let no opportunity go to waste. Farming the Matrix!
FOUND the FARMER!
I’ll have to try that! With the way things are, I’m now the seamstress (or is that tailor?)
GENIUS!
Modesty Cat!
,,
I’ve still got that one.
I stopped buying them when they went up from “25 cents cheap”
That is a LOOONGG time ago.

Momma please, some more of these. I’m tired of those. There’s room for more.

Bring me another basset! That one was tasty!
Found ’em.

I’m sure i’ll do better tomorrow.
Um… Psst…
We… uh…. we just did this one a few days ago.
I guess some dogs have one kind of dog bowl, and some have another.
Probably Cleo’s is the only one with a ball return.
Anyway, I have something that might be right down your alley….
If you happen to be looking for today’s …
Yes!
Eight 🙁
Got all nine.
Why are you the only one NOT saying that?
You’re not… nobody else is saying it either.

To Bambushie…
You asked a question, and I did my best to answer it.
It took a long time, and a lot of writing, even rewriting, attempting to be clear.
I wasn’t trying to be rude, or critical…
But simply trying to explain something hard to describe.
If you don’t appreciate it, or you choose to thumb down answers that aren’t what you wanted to hear, okay.. just no more questions, please.
I got seven. 🙁
,
I wonder what’s bugging her?
What a cute little caterpillar!
as you can see, I deleted that repeat puzzle, Susan.
thanks for the reminder
Bunny say, “Hop!”
Perseus with the head of Medusa
It appears she got the last laugh.
The workmanship is amazing, the details, the emotions.
