A visit to Yousef Al Habshi’s WEBSITE and the galleries it contains will be worth your while , I think (he has honed his artistic talent to a skill using photography as his medium).
My only nit pick is that a good number are not captioned, and naturally those are the ones I want to know about.
First time I showed my Mom a metallic fly similar to this under the microscope she was absolutely overwhelmed by how something she had thought of as ugly could be so beautiful!
“Funny rabbit” (in translation) By: Nataly Derevyanko (Ukraine / see below)
From the Artfinder website:
“I love nude art, animal, floral and whimsical art. Small oil painting on canvas, cardboard and wood. I was born in the city of Zaporozhye in 1976. In 2001 graduated from the Lviv National Academy of Arts. Since 2001 I am working as an artist of art: paint, icon painting, illustration, web-design. Since 2006, teaching in higher educational institutions in Zaporozhye. I want to sell on Artfinder because I like this site. I want to promote my art at different art aries. I hope Arfinder will be successful for me.”
And now imagine a cyclist taking that path in the wrong direction…
A close friend’s grandmother did that all the time (yes; there was a space like that here in Munich, too).
Funny thing is – the policeman chasing her was a close friend to her son or daughter, married couple living with her and her husband…
Snoopy as she was, she had to look who was there when he friendly visited them and just had ranted about that impossible cyclist…
Thunderstruck is a mild expression here.
I’m chuckling at your comment, but really, it doesn’t seem any noisier than the traffic outside of my house. When I moved here, I didn’t think I’d ever get used to it…but, you do after a while.
I live on one flight path for the Norfolk Airport. What I noticed on 9/11 and the days after was the LACK of airplane sounds. I typically don’t notice the planes very much.
Somewhere in Hungary.
The photographer is, as near as I can tell, a woman by the name of Patály Ildikó Kibogozó (wide open to correction). Here is the Google translation of the top caption I found for the photograph……..
“Life is not so magical, you just have to know how to handle it, and that requires knowledge.
I got a lot of it here. Through his practical examples and super drawings, I received such a perspective from Ildiko that I feel that I CAN ACHIEVE what is really important to me”
…..which comes from HERE. It’s near the bottom, and you’ll pass a lot of other interesting photographs getting there.
You know, it took me a long time to find even the easiest one. The illustration is just so interesting on its own that i keep forgetting to look for a difference.
Not sure what I am doing wrong in my posting. It works for me, it is a simple YouTube link. Try going to YouTube and searching Louie Louie Wailers. Besides it being from a local band, what I like is that the words are all clearly pronounced.
Or good morning, if you happen to arrive after dawn.
I like this drawing… It totally captures the look and ambiance… or lack thereof… of the shop where I take my car, and so many other mechanics’ shop’s where I’ve dawdled…
Or been forced to dawdle, usually while also being told that I wasn’t allowed to be inside.
…
That’s a puzzle in itself…..
Where can you go on foot, while your car is being held hostage? Especially in the neighborhoods where these shops are usually located.
So you go outside and sit gingerly on the broken leatherette and chrome couch that you’re pretty sure was outside last weekend in the rain.
….
And speaking of puzzles… In case you’re wondering why I called this meeting…
As I’ve said before, I no longer answer questions about disputed or additional differences.
I didn’t design the puzzle, so it has become clear that I can’t speak to the intent of the person who did.
This time, that was StelBel.
My job is simply to solve it, to make sure it can be done, and then, if necessary, check with her to make sure the differences I found were all her intended ones.
That said…..
I myself, as another solver, can see no difference at all in the gas pump from one side to the other, nor can I tell what part of it you mean.
As I’m still working on a tablet, though, and not my laptop, the resolution might be a bit imperfect, and I haven’t found tablet software to cut and paste that bit from each panel side by side for comparison or to show you.
Still it’s only my opinion, and nothing official, that whatever you’re noting must be a tiny imperfection and too small to be a difference.
If others also have found it, it’ll be up to Stel to either say it was unintended, or isn’t there, or to agree to count it as a tenth.
I did that just a few weeks ago when a coyote dared to cross our
path and skittled off with my leash-less doggie after in hot pursuit.
I didn’t yell J.C. , but I had some other expletives, yelling for her to stop.
Of course, with her blood up and her potential prey
in view, she turned her ears off to me and it was only after she stopped that I (gasping for breath at this point) was able to catch up and leash her…….
OK…I will agree to call that “difference #9½”! I admit that I “fooled” around with the gas pump, but wasn’t satisfied with the way it was coming out, so I clicked on “undo” what I thought was the requisite number of times to get back to the original, unsullied version of the pump, but alas…..I should have clicked one more time……..
Still, I do try not to make a difference that’s soooo subtle!!!! I forget that there are some real eagle eyes out there! I couldn’t even find it until I looked at Alexi’s enlargement (thanks for that).
so, I’m wondering why this flight attendant (this dinosaur almost typed in ‘stewardess’) is so overjoyed–her flight
landed without crashing and burning?
OK.. I see the teeny weeny difference in the posted enlargements …
But I can’t enlarge the original image that much on my tablet.
When I “stretch” the picture as far as I can with two fingers, the resolution is lost and the lines break up before that tiny detail is revealed with any clarity.
So to anyone like me, solving it on an affordable tablet, without benefit of an enlargement made by someone else, on a computer, it doesn’t really exist!
In my 9, I got the one that Tigressy got as “extra”, it jumped out at me, but oddly, I saw the hose-to-pump gap as the difference, not the handle as much.
But, I totally missed the “eggs” one — I should had gotten that one!
“Tie goes to the runner!”
.
The beauty of those eyes is very offset by the horror of that mouth.

Urban planning at its best.

Here is a 5 minute 18 second video of this famous Lisbon, Portugal tram.
It’s a beautiful ride.
well, those folks who live in the bottom apartments only have to step off their doorstep
to get on a trolley
the echo noise alone would drive me batty. oh wait, i’m already batty. ”never mind”.
I’m chuckling at your comment, but really, it doesn’t seem any noisier than the traffic outside of my house. When I moved here, I didn’t think I’d ever get used to it…but, you do after a while.

Now THAT is door-to-door service.
Alternate side of the street parking is in effect.
.,
That is joy.

singing in the rain?
It was the right thing to do.

Only five tonight. Maybe more tomorrow.
Maybe. :)
I’m with you, Happy. Just 5.
I’ve got seven. My eyes cross looking at the details.
I lucked out and got all nine fairly quickly.
Version by the Fabulous Wailers:
All I’m getting is “Video Unavailable.”
P.S.:
Thanks for the gosling video yesterday, it is indeed an “adorable family.”
Not sure what I am doing wrong in my posting. It works for me, it is a simple YouTube link. Try going to YouTube and searching Louie Louie Wailers. Besides it being from a local band, what I like is that the words are all clearly pronounced.
It works for me.
Maybe it isn’t available in Canada?
I think I found nine.

I gotcher solution right here!
See what you can do… And then

Edited in a bit later.
I had never heard of the Tiki Bar’s Fenton until yesterday.
When Liverlips asked about Fenton I went looking.
This is the video I found.
I did that just a few weeks ago when a coyote dared to cross our
path and skittled off with my leash-less doggie after in hot pursuit.
I didn’t yell J.C. , but I had some other expletives, yelling for her to stop.

Got your exercise for the week!
Woah.

I’ve got eagle eyes! Yeah!
BTW, if you were already counting the gas pump as part of your nine, does that mean you still need to find one more?
Just wondering…
(not that I’m keeping track or anything….)
Already found it. It’s almost Easter…
Ummmmmm…….
Speaking of modesty……….
Just being happy to have good eyesight.
so, I’m wondering why this flight attendant (this dinosaur almost typed in ‘stewardess’) is so overjoyed–her flight
landed without crashing and burning?
I guess so.
..
awww…there are my eagle eyes…
If you saw that, yes you do.
OK.. I see the teeny weeny difference in the posted enlargements …
But I can’t enlarge the original image that much on my tablet.

So to anyone like me, solving it on an affordable tablet, without benefit of an enlargement made by someone else, on a computer, it doesn’t really exist!
Also, the distance between the hose and the pump is a bit greater on the right.
Again—-that MINUTE difference ( especially when viewed at the size it was meant to be and not Alexi’s enlargement) is part of the mistake that I made!
I apologize!
Now you’re just showing off that your vision is better than my vision!
UNCLE!!! LOL
I did not see that.
8, can’t believe the one I missed, so easy!!
Woo Hoo!
i easily got 7 today! hooray!
But, I totally missed the “eggs” one — I should had gotten that one!
“Tie goes to the runner!”
🦅 👀
Same here.
I got nine, but I got the wrong nine! Tigressy’ “91/2” plus another that disappeared after I had scored it…
Always enjoyed Booth’s dogs. They are the definition of “scruffy mutt.”
