I dunno.

Maybe it looks romantic to some, but I just don’t like the cut of his jib.

In my opinion, she tries to be polite – even holding back her fan-holding hand.
That would talk. A lot.

You don’t like him trying to see down her dress? Wow, I thought women loved that 😉

Reminds me of the Cake Wrecks website…

It’s full of cakes mistakenly decorated with what were meant to be instructions to the baker.

I used to have several Statue of Liberty knickknacks…

I think they’re funny, because they’re very seldom good renditions of the statue.

These days they may use computer modeling or some such..

But the old pieces were quite often molded from inaccurate or downright sloppy hand made models.

Many, like this one, have long torsos and shortened legs… and look at the size of that upraised arm!

She’s been working out. Lifting that torch and all.

I think we may have seen another photo from this shoot… though it could have been somebody else.

In any case, it’s obviously a 21st century model, posting as a WWI era pilot.

But when I tried an image search to see who it was, I found it misidentified on a whole bunch of websites as WWII pilot Shirley Slade…

So I googled her, and found a website that exposes the same fake.

It’s not the photographer’s fault… He never mislabeled it.

But here’s the real Shirley Slade….

Once you find one, you have a big hint as to how he drew the others.

If you’d like more than a hint as to where I found them….

Here’s my solution!

Only the “sun” wiggles to my eyes.

But it does it a LOT.

The pyramids flicker for me also.
The hills don’t seem to do much except for the one spot there the lines get thin and close together.

This is one of my favorite StelBel works… not a movie poster, per se….

But I love this glimpse of the glamorously renovated Parahound Theater, especially during its wonderful Audry Hepbasset film festival.

Believe me Stel put a lot of work into shrinking and arranging those posters!

I’m glad Claude, Clara, and Cleo are attending….

This is so much better for Cleo than some of the action movies they let her watch.

And of course, seeing Audrey Hepbasset, previously, had a great influence on Cleo’s choosing acting as a career.

She was only a puppy, when she first started staring sadly out the window, and softly howling her rendition of “Moon Kibble.”
