It’s that a prosthetic?

Poor baby… Lucky, though, to live in a time when such things are possible, and with people who care enough to make it so.

Umm, yeah…he ought to.

He IS Frank Sinatra!

In 1938 he was 23 years old.

I think the charge was adultery.

And that was considered an extremely low ice situation, if it was taken last winter.

Usually there’s way more.
Something like 60% coverage compared to the 7% here… I can’t remember exactly and I’m too tired to look it up.

Brrr… I’ll stay in California, thanks.

I remember when you could find the reruns on every channel. I think that everyone of a certain age has seen them all.

She’s at the Brown Derby in Hollywood, I think.. trying to pretend she’s not gawking at celebrities.

She’s staring at him in her mirror, and he knows it.

Shouldn’t this be the We Six? Why is the drummer left out?

That kid singing Elvis is amazing.

It’s always been We Five, afaik.

And coincidentally, what I’m doing outdoors is watching an Elvis impersonator contest at the county fair.

It’s between contestants at the moment, and so far, this year, they’re all bad.

I can’t listen to videos here, but just from what you said, that kid could win. 😁

A poor six at the second look through. I’ll have another look later, and then compare my finds with your solution.

Got nine (counted one twice and stopped after that).
Sorry, but you’ve marked the wrong child’s shirt.

Thank you!

Tigressy is right, you guys.

I had to redo the puzzle, when I was sent a new copy because of a change.

I already “knew” what I’d marked, and I was falling asleep, so I quickly did it over from memory.

Sorry…
It’s the boy in the center, to the lower left of the one I marked, whose shirt turns a brighter blue… And I knew that!

All this reminds me of a question the other day that I meant to answer, about making SPOILER BOXES.

I believe Bambushie asked, and More Cats answered… Correctly, but there is an

EASIER WAY:

Don’t get yourself confused by the code… let WordPress make it for you. All you have to know first is how to highlight text.

Underneath where you’re typing there’s a black bar with formatting commands: B i U, etc. (It’s called the formatting toolbar.)

To use any of them, you highlight your text (before posting your comment, of course) and click the appropriate symbol, to make italics, etc.

To hide something inside a spoiler box, enter it into your comment… whether it’s your words, a video link, an image link, or all of the above.

Then highlight it (so it looks like you’ve shaded it with a blue highlighter).

While it’s highlighted, click the [+] that’s the last thing on the formatting toolbar.

A little window will pop up.

That’s where you type what you DO want people to see… the text they’re supposed to click on, which can be “Click Here” or whatever you like.

Click OK on that box.

Now you’ll see your intended hidden comment enclosed in code. You don’t have to think about where to type it… The code already wrapped itself around it.

Click “Post Comment” and you’re done.

….

If it doesn’t work…

You may have clicked something else in between highlighting your text and clicking the [+] . That would make your highlight disappear.

Be sure to highlight the text again before trying to use any formatting commands on it.

Also… I keep forgetting to check, but you may have to be logged in to get a formatting toolbar for your comments.

Maybe one of you “guests” could kindly let me know?

If you don’t have one, only “members” can make spoiler boxes.

I just click [+] (black bar, rightmost), enter the spoiler title, click “OK” and type away.

Visible
invisible

Editing is tricky, though.

That’s because you’re more advanced.

You’re already familiar with code, at least somewhat, and you recognize the tags and know how and where to type in between them, which you didn’t mention.

Lots of complicated instructions have already been given for that method.

Mine are meant mostly to help people who don’t know anything about code, so they’ve already had trouble with doing it that way.

….

I’m trying to give them one simple method that works. Everything on the toolbar works on highlighted text, for people who don’t care to learn any code.

It’s the simplest way I know, and the way I do it even though I don’t have to. Try it… You might like it.

Meanwhile… PLEASE do me a favor, you and also everybody who wants to add your own method….

don’t confuse people with alternative directions until either they’re comfortable with mine or they ask for another way.

Thanks!

I don’t do anything, not even changing the position of the cursor.

By default the cursor should end up in the correct place to type your hidden text, so you’re correct.

It does… But people don’t automatically know to leave it there, or not to delete anything… Or I don’t know what else.

I only know that this way:

(typing the text, highlighting it, and THEN clicking [x] )

has worked for several people who already had trouble with putting in the code first (including me, at first, even though I already knew some other code!)

…..

Either way will work.

I’m just trying to give the alternative that taught me how to do it when I sometimes failed the other way.

It’s no big deal….

We all have the same goal…

Which is to teach people to make spoiler boxes.

Not only do I enjoy people being successful, but without the boxes, some people can’t resist posting spoilers.

And those ruin the puzzles for people who come later…

Often including me. 😁
