A girl of twenty??

Not only twenty, but married long enough that her husband is ready to leave her because of how much her skin has changed, presumably just since the wedding?

They’re not even halfway trying for realism.

LOL… We’re not even talking about wrinkles here. I defy any man or boy I know… Ok, women too… to recognize “dull and coarse-textured” skin if they’re looking for it.

Some advice for young Mrs Gullible…

1) If you believe olive oil is so great for your skin… Just rub in a few drops from a bottle of it, then use something more gentle for washing.

2) More important… RUN! NOW!!

If he’s leaving you for, or even just acting dazzled by, another woman because of her nicer complexion, he’s a selfish jerk who’ll dump you at your first sign of actual aging. Heaven forbid you get a grey hair!

Don’t wait till you’re 37 with three kids, and no means of support!

Go to college, find a passion or a career, enjoy your youth… And then marry somebody worth it!

The thumbs down is only for the ad, not for posting it. Being married for 51 years to a woman whose skin is maybe a bit more than “middle age”, I enjoy every bit of her skin, and if she has any wrinkles (that I barely notice), she’s earned every one of them, and probably a bit more.

Wow… That had to be taken at exactly the right millisecond.

No way a human could control it on purpose, so it has to be either a serendipitous accident, or the product of an automatic shutter taking hundreds or thousands of images in a few seconds.

Not one drop on his shirt yet!

Not that many pictures per second, but still really short exposure while using a very good flashlight.
My husband took a photo like that of a decorative fountain once – looks like frozen.

In my defense, I posted the previous comment before the request to “describe the image in one word” had appeared.

“Scary”!

BTW… Not just scary cos you might get eaten, cos you probably won’t… But I’m also a bit scared of… um… some other, non-fatal but undesirable, things a lioness might do on top of one’s head.

Not that they’d ever admit to!

The thing about goldens is you never think they want to eat the kittens, or hurt them, probably not even play at chasing them.

They’d most likely be happy to just lie there like big doofuses with kittens climbing all over them.

I certainly hope not!

I was surprised to read not long ago that they still consider Rainier an active threat.

I had thought it was too long dormant (silly me) to worry about…

But the article said it occasionally (in terms of years, not weeks) produces mudslides, and if it really erupts, it would affect both Vancouver and San Francisco (so presumably Santa Rosa as well) cos it’s way bigger than Mt St. Helens.

Yes, of course, and everything in between, and possibly a bit past them.

But i mentioned only those two cities because of the personal threat.

He lives in one and I live quite near the other.

Mount Baker occasionally gets frisky too. (I posted a picture here of her taken out of my back window a while ago…)

BTW… The way images have been coming and going and coming back around here, I can’t remember which day was what…

So I just wanted to say yes, thanks, of course, that had to be tickertape.

I always forget how big it is, and how long…

And besides, my sleepy brain was trying to think of something that was already there, before I read that they were watching a parade.

Sorry… But I’m not liking this bb place.

I looked at the website, and saw no reason your images would be disappearing… unless maybe you exceed some sort of limit I didn’t read about…

Or …. could be it’s another site with a history of hosting spam or malware, so WordPress deletes its links.

At least they allow that… A lot of sites don’t.

Links to images hosted elsewhere don’t cost them space or bandwidth, but this does, yet I haven’t seen any size constraints… though I haven’t posted anything huge.

At first it wouldn’t work for me. I didn’t know why, but it just wouldn’t upload my pictures.

Now that it does, I use it whenever I can…
But I haven’t found any way to put the direct uploads into spoiler boxes, so I need Postimage for puzzle solutions.

I guess that means you can’t hide celebrities for now either.

But the game of musical chairs, with images coming and going and reposted elsewhere, has me dizzy!

The first simulated image of a black hole. Calculated with an IBM 7040 computer using 1960 punch cards, and hand-plotted by French astrophysicist Jean-Pierre Luminet in 1978.

Not really. I have lots of pictures saved on Imgur because I used that when I used to post on Groat Cronix (GoComics), but since they don’t want to be a hosting site anymore actually uploading images on there now without posting them to Usersub is a chore as I described yesterday. I can’t recommended it for daily usage, though you could in a pinch.

I’ll ask the question on the Discord I’m in, someone there might have a suggestion or two.

@ —comment image    nighthawks

I have four of the below today (I had one on Monday too).
Going to the imgbb site says using for free has a 32 megabyte image limit. That’s not very big so that could be what you’re running into (even its “pro” account options all limit you to a 64 megabyte image limit).

As a side note I can no longer access my comments listing on WordPress (did GoatComics take them over?).

Gone.

All Imgbb postings seem to be getting removed.

(Now I’ll never know what you had four of)

Doesn’t matter much what they allow, in this case… but I have to ask….

If you mean the limit per image… are you thinking of 32Kb? That’s very small these days.

But 32Mb in one image is enormous for posting on a website!
