Art fairs and web sites abound with colorful paintings of animals…
mostly dogs and cats. Some are nice, a lot seem schlocky.
A local artist started out selling her acrylic paintings of rainbow cats as originals, but by the time i knew her, she was designing them on a computer, and selling them as prints, in frames or on tshirts, mugs and tote bags.
The fad has gotten a bit out of hand, IMHO, and I always wondered where it came from.
I had no idea there were actually real life rainbow dogs modeling for it!
From a caption I found for this picture on Tumblr….
“John Lennon and Ringo Starr (with his Monopoly winnings – paper money, earrings, and a cap) holidaying in Trinidad & Tobago, from Ringo Starr’s personal collection. (January 12th-23rd, 1966) –
‘We were on holiday here. And we were having a good time. The four of us always went on holiday together. One time we went to the Spanish Islands. George and I went to Canada once. We were playing Monopoly here, and it looks like I won! I often won. ‘
— Ringo Starr, Rolling Stone: Ringo Starr’s lost Beatles photo album. (November 8th, 2013)”
….
BTW both were born in 1940, so were 25 here, turning 26 later in the year.

They’re pretty patient. I wonder which little master or mistress did this artwork. {*¿*}

Were they ever that young?
Were we?

No mean feet!
This should be part of a Rockettes tribute.
Dunno if those guys’ legs in between theirs would seem appropriate.
Modeling for lamps? They’ll kick your eye out, kid.
,
Bunny?
You can’t fool me. That’s just an enormous ball of cotton candy.
…i think i see a nose?
It’s real.

….,.,
Nothing jumping out at me this time. (Though after a bit they all start jumping around like Nighthawks’ other optical delusions…)
Got him!
what can I say—I’m delusional
Happy (cubed) should not even be allowed to see this puzzle, let alone attempt it.
I’m right here.
Found it. But i think we’ve seen this one?
Yes, we have.
Yep.
Didn’t take me too long to get it.
You got the 3 in the middle.
I did not see the first and last until i went back.
I’m standing by my answer! Is this some optometrist’s test?
Well, those three digits are there.
Can’t argue with that, right?
The that there are/might be others doesn’t negate that fact.
As for what kind of test it is…
You might be able to find out from Alexi’s link….
If you it speak Chinese.
“A” number? I see several. And I think if I stare at it long enough and zen enough, I’ll see lots of things.
3 4 5 2 8 3 9
(Which agrees with More-Cats’ finding / and though he didn’t list his finding probably Happy³ ‘s too)
Is anyone else finding Google’s new “Search with Google Lens” function as annoying as I do?
It seems to be a case of fix-it-’til-it’s-broken.
I finally found the official answer on you tube (you’ll probably have to live through an advertisement).
I bet the “lens” is “as seen by “Highest paid advertiser”.
Aha!
Thanks.
I only saw the middle three digits easily, with the two on either side of them vaguely visible.
I couldn’t see the outer two at all.
But after reading your comment, I tried a scrolling movement.
When it’s in motion, I can see all seven!
Not a safe place to land, Mr. Dragonfly!
If I’m not looking too closely, the dragonfly is a beautiful fairy!
Does she move when you scroll past?
Unfortunately, no.
That would be nice!
She’s got quite a load in her pollen baskets already!
Sounds like a mean comment about a contestant on one of those shows like the Bachelor, or the Dating Game.
Not mean, just “Job well done…”
I know… LOL…
I meant it also sounded like a new euphemism.
You know…
She says her favorite food is ice cream…
Or she orders dessert.
And some snarky commentator whispers to the audience…
Or somebody comments on YouTube…
“Whoa! Hasn’t she got quite a load in her pollen baskets already?”
I love this poster, probably my favorite.
