I really did enjoy the movie, “Rollerball,” but here is a LINK to the short story by William Harrison; it’s even darker than the movie.

Those are some curious and entertaining videos. In order:
I have no idea what the language is, but the parrot’s got rhythm as well as pitch memory.
I think the dog is having an absolute blast. He’s outdoors, with his human, playing a game the human taught him and probably getting tons of attention and affection. The ocean smells, the sea life smells, the people smells, all of it is intriguing.
I have to wonder what the reason is to chase all the reptiles into the pond at once. Bath time? They clearly do not enjoy getting bonked on the head with a shovel, though I can’t imagine why not. Are the ones who get bonked the newcomers? The rookies? The freshmen? The rest see him coming and, having already been bonked in the past, know to get out of the way and into the water.

I missed both Tom Sawyer 1973 as a second feature under Benj and The Devil’s Nightmare 1971 under The Exorcist ..
I’m betting this is the original (1974) Benji…
Having found this in Wikipedia’s article…
…I didn’t do enough research.
It was just that the dates weren’t adding up that made me question it. (I don’t remember either movie!)
I read that story back in the day.
Love & Death, then Return of the Pink Panther for me.
Salvadore Dali
I thought he wore a moustache…
Dali painted Ocampos before Octavio Ocampo wa born.

Got him! I found Nemo!
AI yAI yAI, what happened to his tail?
I’m going to say no. I think it’s two fish.
Maybe, but even blowing it up, I am having trouble separating it into two complete fish.
Count the number of train cars this time and every time you see the train and its cars in future, count them again.

Given that parrots are great imitators, does anyone recognize the language?
Another pup having fun?
Or an owner who thinks the pup is having fun?
This job looks interesting…..

Maria Gibbs titled this work TUSCAN WINDOW.
There’s a few people out here who could be added to the suspect list…….
Whoo whooo….
The plot thickens!
Who is this Mr. GC?
Who killed him?
After what we all witnessed of his “charming personality… … we probably don’t have to ask why.
….
There are plenty of other questions we could ask.
How many other people are in that car?
Will Sam interview them all?
The redcaps? Porters? Even the nice conductor, himself?
…
And… it’s a truly amazing feat, worthy of a great detective…
but I have to ask….
How did Sam see evidence of a blow from behind…
when he’s several feet away…
and the victim is… still supine?
Like Sherlock Holmes…. I know the great Sam Basset has his ways.
…
And let’s not forget this question:
What’s so awful about Sam’s pajamas?
I LIKE them!

He’s a bloodhound. He just smelled it.
