Back in the 80s or 90s there were news stories about a young British tourist in Tibet held at gunpoint while a Chinese soldier tried to pull off her Sergeant Bilko T-shirt.
She crossed her arms and somehow managed to convince them that Phil Silvers was not the Dalai Lama, whose image was (and still is) banned in Tibet, under Chinese communist control.
I don’t think they arrested her, but they escorted her back to her hotel, and she was barred from wearing Bilko’s picture again while there, because in spite of the facts, he still looked too much like the Dalai Lama.
I don’t think Phil Silvers looks anything like the Dalai Lama.
But just as some westerners rudely say Asians are hard to tell apart, perhaps some Asians see a similarity in American faces, and to them, anybody with a round face, dark hair and glasses can be said to look like the Dalai Lama.
I only know it happened, and I wasnt there to get the details.

this series has gone on much longer than I thought. I only had about 7 or 8 solid ideas
when it all started in early April and with a little help from Susan and Stel we managed
to surprisingly last until late August.
Most raptors, the female is larger. She has the egg making hardware. He is better off without the mass, considering he is going to be doing most of the hunting. At least early on.

Found it. It took me a minute to realize that all the rest of the signs say “SOLD.”
Really, I’m not sure why we want to find the only one that’s still for sale.
It’s obviously the worst house, or possibly only the most over-priced, in a town that’s been so horrible everybody wants to sell and move away.
Now it’s going to be full of people who just moved there. No local customs, nobody who knows where anything is, and all new kids in the schools.
And no one who knows what terrible things or event made all the previous residents move.
And how are all the new owners going to move in with no access other than some narrow goat tracks for roads? Assuming any sell of course.

But I can only see one sign that appears to have two words on it….
I know it’s artistic license, but why are there garages when it looks like every lane in front of the houses are no wider than a sidewalk?
