Somehow, as I was trying to get my “Goin’ Up the Country” videos to post, Donovan’s “Mellow Yellow” was playing in the background and that’s when I noticed that Spanky McFarland was pretty much keeping time to the music! I always thought he was cool!
I found all 9 also! I think NH was feeling sorry for us, and presented us with an easy one. WooHoo! What fun. Or maybe we are all brilliant. Yeah, that’s it.
Here I am… here I am… neither falling asleep nor flaky internet nor uncooperative computer nor even balky mouse….

Sometimes I’m early, and no one shows up till morning….
let me be late, though… and magically, you all appear.

IMHO, you guys are right… this was a pretty easy puzzle…. er… I mean…. you’re all geniuses.
I see your Strauss and raise one Katchataurian.
I want this played at my funeral.
I’d like something way more cheerful at mine, please.
I won’t say that Stanley Kubrick was a genius, but he certainly got close for this movie, 2001:A Space Odyssey.
I think of this movie every time we FaceTime our kids!
Is one named Hal?
Or Dave?
funny. but one is dave and one s-i-l is also dave.
but what i was referring to was the scene of the video phone call from the moon…………….
Thought so.

@Nighthawks:
The portrait you chose was so very striking, that I did a search to see if I could find out more about it:
Myrna Darby
And, here is her sad story:
Myrna Darby ~ The Most Beautiful Ziegfeld Girl (ziegfeldfolliesgirls.com)
That is sad. Sounds as if she was a naive young woman who was often badly treated by the older men with whom she consorted. What else is new?
Here’s another one
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evelyn_Nesbit
Just read this book about her – Uruburu, Paula (2008). American Eve: Evelyn Nesbit, Stanford White, the Birth of the ‘It’ Girl, and the Crime of the Century
Spanky McFarland

I always liked Spanky and Our Gang on the morning TV. This is the first “Little Rascals”, quality not great but very interesting.
Now THAT was weird.
I’ve seen some really early ones, but I don’t think they were that early…
This one seems pretty random… but I think that’s what originally made them famous.
I know it was ahead of its time in spite of the strangely contrived plot, for using natural, untrained children, and having an integrated cast.
1922, huh? That was great! Loved the mule. Very clever and it made me laugh! Better than some things they show today.
30 Random Acts of Kindness:
OK, well THAT brought me to tears!
Oh yeah. I wish we could see a little more of each of those.
These acts of kindness were beautiful. What a bunch of neat people we have in our world!

Wow. Just Wow.
That was a really good find
Thanks for posting it. Andoni Bastarrika has talent honed to a skill.
A Wow from me, too. That guy is amazingly creative!
Yes. Yes he is.
It didn’t take me long to find all nine. I must be getting better.
Or It’s simpler than usual this time.
I think I got them all. Cleo is worried that Claude will never stop watching that space.
It took me 5 minutes and 20 seconds to find all nine.
I found all 9 also! I think NH was feeling sorry for us, and presented us with an easy one. WooHoo! What fun. Or maybe we are all brilliant. Yeah, that’s it.
Of course we are! And we have good taste! After all, we read Cleo and Company!
RE: Sonny and Cher, this cut from a cold cellar with them wearing extra warm coats is a bit different from what they did on TV.
What is with those collars The Rascals are wearing in their video? They look like part of a flower costume from a kindergarten pageant.

GENIUSES!
That’s what I meant to say.
Meanwhile, I see most of you have solved it….
Got off to a late start, but got Them all! Thanks for an easy one Nighthawks!
That really was easy. About 1 minute?
For a change, I got them all in one view. Took maybe 2 minutes. It was nice not to struggle to look for that elusive 9th difference.
cherry turnover
…
It must have gotten mighty dusty in here all of a sudden…
dusty?
Or smoky.
Whatever – causing to water my eyes.
Too many losses.
Here’s a little guy who has a life expectancy of 30years!! And, he’s as cute as a button!!

Don’t tell me they needed subtitles because those thick Australian accents would be unintelligible to American ears? Sigh…
