They’re on the set, not in a scene from the movie.
My search confirmed my guesses … and probably yours… that the guys on the bike are James Coburn, James Garner, and Steve McQueen, but no results identified the one standing behind them.
I think it might be John Sturges, the director, looking a bit thin
.A lot of people, including me, purposely don’t use yellow for a list like that because it’s too pale. It looks like holes in the text and can be illegible… so we use light orange as a sub.
You could also say purple isn’t a natural color, bright orange and ultra violet are missing, or that brown is not a rainbow color like the others.
Meanwhile, like I said, there’s no rule, so it’s hard to say any color is a “mistake.”
…going from left to right. The colour of 1 and 9 match
so 2 and 8 should match but do not
3 and 7 match following the pattern
4 and 6 do not match but should
5 is central to the count and could not have a match.
Who was it i was talking to about the comic about the foxes?
I have gone trough the archives three times now.
It’s a good thing i found a new rabbit hole.
Me, it’s a great webcomic, I’ve put one of my neighbours onto it.
I’m currently working my way through the archives (Again) of ‘Carry On – The road to Rackenroon’ Which is a webcomic about Hyenas (No Really!). Great characters and storytelling, and the art is also top notch.

The strip starts off in B&W line drawing and is very different, story wise, than when Kathy’s visitor (The Lieutenant) arrives and tells her of her heritage.
The first part of the story, The Wedding, is not really part of the main story. It can be safely skipped if you can’t get into it, I did struggle with it as some of the characters come from other strips and it’s assumed you’ve read them and are familiar with them. It made a lot more sense now I’ve re-read it after reading the rest of the strip (And ‘Freefall’).
You can safely skip forward to 15th June 2005 and pick up the main part of the story, and then you can go back and read the beginning later.
.
Udder comfort…
She’s a bassecow?
sounds like one of Stel’s bon mots
Basselounger
I have a cat who sleeps like a contortionist.
Looks like narcolepsy hit as she was getting down out of the chair.
.,
I think I found Nemo!
.
I got everybody right except the guy in the sunglasses…
Which one?
Yes…
Yes it is

I was assuming he was one of the German actors.
Could be.
This is Sturges…
..
“NOW CUT THAT OUT!”
(and I hear that in the voice of Jack Benny…)
Yup!
Siblings, i presume.
I’m thinking more like “Not tonight! I told you I have a headache!”…
In which case I hope they’re not siblings 🙂
MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
.
What? They couldn’t get Steve McQueen to drive them?
Steve McQueen on a motor scooter?—uh…doesn’t seem to fit
The “Great Escape” photo you just posted?
That would have been an even more interesting race.
I guess Rome has always been full of Vespas, even back in ancient days.
Is that a period scooter Heston is riding?
…
..
OMG…. 8 times the tar, 8 times the nicotine, in one convenient death wish!
At ±$10 nowadays for a pack of 20… or so I’m told…. loading up this puppy would run about four bucks for your 5 or 6 minutes of coughing pleasure.
If you smoke the same number of times a day, your one pack a day habit would become eight packs… and go from $300 a month to $2400.
What a deal.
Don’t remind me! Three packs a day when I quit (Jan 31, 2000)
Wow.
.,,
Okay, I know this one! Just didn’t look like that the last time I saw it…
Looks like a bulldog face in the snow…
,
Oooooooooooooooooooooklahoma where the wind comes whistling down the plain…
If you’d ever heard that first guy sing (which he did in one movie) you might not wish that on yourself.
He’s tall enough.
6’6″
He is, though.
It seemed odd that
So I searched it….
And they were
Figured that was the story…
,.
no.
Maybe.
They’re gonna have to come up with a definition of “mistake” that I’ll buy.
Not, say, that something is supposed to be a different shape or color according to a rule they’re not telling.
yeah, I hoping you guys would figure it out for me-
–It did not come with an answer
Hmmm….

That’s what I figured too.
I know the answer but I don’t know how to do the hidden reply
At this point I don’t think you need to hide it.
The 4 and the 8 should be the same color.
But if you’re saying the pattern should repeat, then the 5 should be the same color as the 1 and the 9.
,,,,
What a creep.
My Three Sons didn’t think so!
A little older then. 🙂
I prefer Steve Martin in that role.
And I don’t mean Fred MacMurray…
,
Found her!
Same!
Instantly.
…
You shouldn’t have gone and played with that skunk…
Baby kitty. AAAAWWWEEEEEE!
..,,
An’ them big ol’ machines is up on stage just a-pickin’ an’ a-grinnin’.
You can tell a lot
about a woman
by her hands. For
instance, if they’re
around your throat
she’s probably slighty
upset

LOL…. Yes, I see.

Rainy Day Blues – House Sparrows – Painted in acrylics by Isle of Man based wildlife artist, Jeremy Paul.
I love house sparrows.
We have a proverb here in Germany: “Wo Spatzen sind, wohnt das Glück.”
“Where sparrows are, there lives good luck.”
I like that.
Well, they look very nice…. but it isn’t really good for sparrows to be painted with regular acrylics.
I hope he’s using feather-safe paints.
What color were they before he painted them?
I’m thinking that as long as the paint had dried before they got wet, they’re now waterproof! 😉
LOL
