That’s about how old I feel sometimes. Baking out in the sun and really enjoying it.

Hmmm… well, are those 12 foot tall cream puffs, or is he half as tall as a 4 inch cream puff?

Might make a difference.

Pop and his next oldest brother.
Pop was my grandfather’s 13th child.
Pop was also the seventh son of a seventh son.

But not your grandmother‘s 13th child?

Not being nosy… I was just thinking she did the heavy lifting, so she deserves some credit too!

But then, maybe he was married more than once…. in which case… um… never mind. LOL

Oops… Sorry.

I mean… not sorry he had two wives…

unless it means one died… or that he had two at the same time…

Just sorry I tried to credit one grandma… Or… Um… I’ll be quiet now….

😊

The original popular Australian version from 1962.
It was written by Australian country singer Geoff Mack in 1959.

This could benefit from subtitles!

I don’t think subtitles would have done much good.

Accepting 50 yards as the average distance between the poles, 22,000 poles an hour works out to 625 miles per hour; they were moving.
4 to the 7th power is 16,384.

I wouldn’t say those were squirrel-sensitive mines, if they’re willing to do what Cleo presumably wants them to do.

A truly squirrel-sensitive mine would realise it was scaring the poor little creatures, and promise not to hurt them…

and then it would shut itself down and refuse to blow anything up…. except maybe balloons, if it knew how to do that.

And maybe it might whistle some comforting squirrel music…. if that’s not too much to ask.

“I’ve Been Everywhere” always makes me think of another boastful country song…

and hearing Johnny Cash, I go straight to the Elvis version.

It’s an old song… there are many other versions… and several titles… usually “I Was Born A Hundred Thousand Years Ago”.

But Elvis called it “I Was Born About Ten Thousand Years Ago”… and rocked it!
