Do you think boy ladybugs resent that name?

“Ladybird beetle” isn’t any better.

Maybe he wants to be called a “manbug”, or even a “superguy bug.”

Must be the cast from The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. I’m not going to get them all, but I see Jimmy Stewart, John Wayne, Lee Marvin, Woody Strode, Lee Van Cleef, Edmond O’Brien, & Vera Miles. John Ford directed.

I can make them out now that you’ve ID’ed them… but I admit, I’m not really sure I know which one is Edmond O’Brien or which of the women is Vera Miles.

I do see Andy Devine, cos he’s so recognizable from Roy Rogers movies of this era… and I’m pretty sure I recognise Strother Martin, though he has one of those chameleon faces that disappears into a role.

….

I wonder whether the woman sitting in the Mc S chair is Mrs. Ford…

I don’t know who else would have a special director’s chair.

I googled it and his wife’s name is Mary McBride Smith (Ford).

They both look pretty old from the back… though I don’t think either is 70 yet here.

I’m not sure if this was inspired by Hans Ruedi Giger’s (5 February 1940 — 12 May 2014) art style, or actually sculpted by him as a mass production item.

There is still an official website at this      LINK.     The “Alien” movie franchise is only one of his projects.

Take a look at the “Alien” bars (as in alcohol) that he designed.

That is some {cough} strong breath there from {ahem} Miss Cleo. Take it from a brasshole, that is not easy to do.

Cleo’s got to stop losing her bubble gum when she practices!

Major instrument blockage!

Gotta give her one thing, though… no, not fresh bubblegum, please… but some credit.

That’s a hell of an embouchure… the brass straightened out before her lips let go!

I love that, or course. Thanks!

Actually, I’ve seen it before… most recently, I think, posted someplace on GoComics.

I can help being a little sad that it’s so mean to the poor doggie…

I’d loave him, even if I seed he was doing a half baked job as my pet.

If it didn’t pan out that he’d be perfect in the roll, at yeast he’s cute, and I’d still raise him.

But anything for a pun, I suppose.

I love the photo, too..

I’d like to find out who created it… and whether it was the same person who did the text.

I probably won’t recognize the name(s), but maybe he, she, or they have done other stuff.
