Direct in-the-comment-box spoilers are another way to go.
If you copy the below neutered coding into any word processor and delete the spaces I placed between all the”[” and “]” brackets [spoiler … /spoiler] (I hope my attachment makes that clearer) you can then copy and paste your now active coding into an open comment box .
Again, I hope my attachment is clear on that part of the process.
I tried every which way to post the coding as code you could directly copy, but alas, WordPress.

Of course you’re….
“I’m trying relly hard to NOT post my solution as a spoiler”
So my advice would be don’t use a spoiler box. 🙂
P.S.
If you watched the game how did Hamilton play so well, play so awfully, play well again, then awfully again. I had both sides covered so I can’t complain really, my mother was born in Winnipeg and I was born in Manitoba, but I’ve been a Hamilton fan for years.
(And I haven’t watch the game since I lost my cheering partner in 1992 [RIP, Dad.] Besides, I still haven’t forgiven Hamilton for taking out Willie Flemming in 1963!
I drew a red line where the reflection is cut off… as if the paper or the painting is too shallow to show the whole sky.
#6 and #9 are also not reflected, but lie beyond the edge of the picture (ie, past the red line,) so nothing in their part of the sky is shown.
I can’t figure out why it says to count the points… first, every star in the picture has five…
and second, most people don’t need to count to recognise a 5-pointed star, and would immediately recognise the difference if there were a four or six-pointed one.
But I checked her GoComics profile, and she was on several of Sunday’s strips there (I never know whether to say “today’s” or “yesterdays” at this point.).
I think I’ll email her, anyway, and ask whether there’s a problem.
Sorry. I’m here. We got new internet and I lost Cleo for several days ~ among other things. Now Cleo logged me out and my password book ~also my address book ~ is on the kitchen table where I’m doing Christmas cards and I always forget to bring it in here to sign on. So right now I’m a mean purple face.
I never had anything really help me with my depression except a child’s dosage of Nefazodone, which is no longer made. Surprisingly, and adult dosage brought on worse anxiety. I’ve thought about contacting someone about the psilocybin treatment.
Dunno what it’s like in Germany, but very few US pharmacists do any drug compounding or mixing any more… They’re “dispensing pharmacists”.
And they can’t change a doctor’s prescription, even to give you a smaller dose.
I tried a couple of times…once when no lower dosage of a prescribed medication was even, manufactured, and I couldn’t split it because it was in capsules.
Another time the pills were very small, and I didn’t trust splitting them.
Both times I was told I needed a prescription for that exact amount, and then that it was unavailable.
Poor Christmas tree… and what a waste, considering what people pay for fresh ones around here.
I’ve meant to ask whether they’re that expensive in the Midwest these days… when I came to California… at 18(!!)… I was shocked… absolutely shocked!
I’d volunteered at a Girl Scout tree lot in Wisconsin, where we sold trees for 50 cents a foot… in California they were a dollar!
A six foot tree would cost $6 that way.
I don’t know the price in dollars per foot now, but I see trees advertised as on sale for “only” 60 dollars each. Yikes!
…
Anyhow, Cleo, like a small child, sees no connection between what she did and being good, or between greed and naughtiness.
It reminds me of a now 40-ish niece, who is… let’s say strong willed… like Cleo, and whose parents were almost as indulgent as the Cliffords, except for a few more financial restraints.
The children’s Christmas stockings and Easter baskets seemed to get bigger every year, and at the same time, their taste in candy grew more sophisticated, running to expensive chocolate instead of cheap bunnies.
….
One year our parents were visiting, and brought some pretty baskets for them to put out for the Easter bunny later that year…. they’d thought it would be a cute idea.
As soon as they left, my niece, then around 7, pitched a howling fit. The baskets were normal size, therefore too small to hold what she wanted.
I would have said “Oh well…” but no… she got taken someplace to choose a better basket.
The one she got would have held a 35 pound turkey, say, or maybe a peck of apples… with room to spare.
On Easter Sunday, when she saw that they didn’t fill it up, she cried again.
Really weird… I figured it was Lawrence of Arabia, so searched this picture to see whether it was Peter O’Toole, which I think it is, but it doesn’t quite look like him… Or the real Lawrence.
I found the exact same picture, but with Robert Pattinson’s face, crediting him with playing Lawrence in a movie.
That one looks Photoshopped, but there are enough citations that I think it’s the above one that has been altered.
…
But why? There are a zillion real pictures of Peter O’Toole as Lawrence.
And the disgusting part is that some corporate insurance company bean counter is spending $10.00 to find ways to deny this penny or that penny on each of the company’s insured’s claims.
Never mind those claims must be made on top of the loss of those insured’s homes, livelihoods, and, most importantly, loved ones.
Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall were also excellent radio actors.
The link below leads to 57 episodes of their radio series “Bold Venture,” which ran from 1951 to 1952.
At the time of recording, they were already parents to Stephen Humphrey, who was named after Bogart’s character in “To Have and Have Not” (their daughter, Leslie Howard, born 1952, was named after the actor).
Wikepedia lists Dolly Parton’s height as 4 Feet 11 and an nth under 27/32 inches tall (and having had a sister, I’d bet her family knows not to leave that nth out when stating her height in her hearing) .
Here’s picture link to Johns Hopkins’ explanation of a pathologist’s job; with the specializations listed as well (maybe 5 minutes at computer screen reading speed).

Eeek.
For some strange reason, the Robert LaDuke is titled:
“Butterflies”
We’ve seen this before; my link leads to my first answer on October 11.

And yes, there are problems with the puzzle.
I’m trying relly hard to NOT post my solution as a spoiler, but WP is foiling me!
A problem with using the spoiler tag?
Forgive me for repeating, especially if you already know, but …
and click the [+] at the end of the little black toolbar below.
When a little window pops up, type the words in it that you want people to click on…
in this case, I will use “Here’s a refresher” … but it’s often “Click here”.
And click “Post comment.”
That’s it.
Okay, so I missed the “highlight the words” step. 😫

Thanks, but I think Susan’s method is simpler.

I know! I know! It’s #____!
Who says you can’t teach an old dog…………..
Yeah, we did this before.
Posting this before I look at Alexi’s.
I drew a red line where the reflection is cut off… as if the paper or the painting is too shallow to show the whole sky.
#6 and #9 are also not reflected, but lie beyond the edge of the picture (ie, past the red line,) so nothing in their part of the sky is shown.

I think that the “number of points” is a red herring.
Yeah, I’m sure it is… .
But not a good one.
A red herring is usually something you’re tempted to try, a false clue, that would lead you astray.
You can just look at this puzzle image and say… “Uh, but they’re all five pointed.”
…
Mmmm … herring.
I wonder if RED herring is bad or something.
That’s what I wanted to say!
sorry about that, guys!—I post so much stuff I lose track.
Cleo has the right idea! More space equals more presents!
Has anyone heard from Perky Cat? I was off a few days, and she hasn’t been around.
She’s been posting on GoComics, so maybe she just doesn’t like us. /sarc
Oops… you posted this while I was typing.
But… sniffle…. say it ain’t so, Perky…..
Sorry. I love you guys. I will be back to my old self soon, I hope.
With me being ‘occupied’ with our daughter’s visit, and with loosing my balance and falling, I thought I missed you. Hope you are okay!
I hope you are okay. I had some internet problems and then some family problems. Getting things straightened out. Depressing, though.
I understand. Come here when you need a break.
Just a bunch of bruises. I now have to use my cane full time. Glad you are okay, too.
Sheesh! Nobody listens.
I always tell everybody:
DON’T FALL DOWN!
Now behave yourself.
Sorry to hear. Glad you’re back, though.
I was planning to ask that tonight, too…
But I checked her GoComics profile, and she was on several of Sunday’s strips there (I never know whether to say “today’s” or “yesterdays” at this point.).
I think I’ll email her, anyway, and ask whether there’s a problem.
I will answer your email soon. I appreciate it.
I was a mean purple face and now I’m back. I haven’t logged on. Too many screwy things going on!

Maybe we should imagine you like this.
India Ria Amarteifio as Violet Beauregarde in the stage musical “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”
Funny, but I can’t like that.
Glad you’re okay!
Taking a big deep breath _does_ help.
And the purple face, yeah, been there.
These days my antidepressant helps also. 🙂
I never had anything really help me with my depression except a child’s dosage of Nefazodone, which is no longer made. Surprisingly, and adult dosage brought on worse anxiety. I’ve thought about contacting someone about the psilocybin treatment.
Have you ever tried asking a pharmacist to mix you up a child’s dose?

Nefazodone is no longer made along with several other antidepressants because of causing liver damage.
Wait, what – no booze anymore?!?
Got any to spare. Been having some family problems and scares. My nerves aren’t doing too well.
Don’t call that pretty kitty a mean purple-face!
…
Yeah yeah, I know.
That reminds me, though I am afraid to ask. Did anyone ever find out what has become of Katina Cooper?
No. She wasn’t feeling well months ago. She said she might not be posting. Sad!!
Love all the add ons, but especially Bill Haley. Those dance moves are not seen anymore.
Still not enough space for a real Sherman tank.
