A bit of Surely Basset trivia: She is the only performer to sing the theme song for two James Basset movies. She was so good, and so memorable, that they had to bring her back.
BTW, LM…….it’s actually three James Bond themes! I wouldn’t have questioned you at all since you’re nearly always right and I greatly respect your vast musical knowledge, but I happened to remember that it was three when I ran across that info while putting together the Casino Royale page on 9-2-2021.

(note: I actually couldn’t remember the 3rd theme, even though I remembered that she had sung 3. Now, having listened to ‘Moonraker’ about 5 or 6 times this morning, that theme is starting to grow on me!…….still not as good as ‘Goldfinger’ or ‘Diamonds Are Forever’ – in my opinion – but her rendition is, as usual, flawless! I guess it was the music itself that never “grabbed” me as much as some of the other more well-known Bond themes.)
Thank you all so much for your good wishes, lovely greeting cards, cakes and food (a Korean buffet! Susan; you’ve outdone yourself!) – we’ve got company, therefore I don’t have the time at the moment to thank everyone individually.
