I have been having issues with it since forever. I get email from Teresa at FrogBlog but nothing from you is getting through. But, spam is!
Every time i go to a tech guy it gets fixed, but it doesn’t stay fixed.
I’ll look again and see if it’s there.
Santa Claus, like all pilots, gets a yearly visit from the Federal Aviation Administration, and it was shortly before this Christmas when the FAA examiner arrived.
In preparation, Santa had the elves wash the sled and bathe all the reindeer. Santa got his logbook out and made sure all his paperwork was in order.
The examiner walked slowly around the sled. He check the reindeer harnesses, the landing gear, and Rudolf’s nose. He painstakingly reviewed Santa’s weight and balance calculations for sled’s enormous payload.
Finally, they were ready for the checkride. Santa got in and fastened his seatbelt and shoulder harness and checked the compass. Then the examiner hopped in carrying, to Santa’s surprise, a shotgun.
“What’s that for?” asked Santa incredulously.
The examiner winked and said, “I’m not supposed to tell you this, but you’re gonna lose an engine on takeoff.”
Since everyone enjoyed it last year, we are once again inviting in a small Korean crew, and turning the Tiki Bar into a Korean barbecue buffet for the next 24 hours…
including Korean teppanyaki… if it’s called that in Korea.
It’s called bulgogi – “bul” is “fire”, “gogi” is “meat”, usually beef, but there are dwaeji bulgogi (pork), dalg bulgogi or buldalg (chicken), ori ~ (duck; very special!), bulnak (beef and octopus),…
Very nice assortment you’ve got there. Thank you! Real party-food!
Add more edible greens and you have ssambap…
I’ve eaten beef bulgogi, but I didn’t realise it was what they made on a teppan, though I knew they had them at a Korean barbecue.
I just thought it was two separate things.
When i went to the only one here, they told us all the “barbecue tables” were taken, so we could only order prepared food.
It was good, anyway…but just as expensive, and no doubt not as good, as sitting at the teppan tables, so it was a disappointment, especially as I don’t go out to eat very often.
I’ve also had it when a friend made it, and.the frozen bulgogi (not as good of course) you can buy in the supermarket.
Originally it was/is made directly over charcoal, but that’s extra expensive. Since pans are used anyway over a burner nowadays, a teppan or a heated stone makes more sense.
I’ve taken my electrified teppan out of the closet during the pandemic since large gatherings were forbidden anyway – ideal for indoors and dead cheap about 20 years ago despite its excellent quality.
It has a gutter for excess fat and juice including a drawer to collect that.
And thinly sliced meat of any kind only takes seconds to minutes, including duck. First course here. Or beef. Then mushrooms, followed by chicken. Any veggies after that if there’s still room… 😉
I love all your congratulations, food, good wishes,…!
We’ve (my husband and me) celebrated starting midnight CEST for several hours and are still a bit hung over…
Several calls (some really long) from 10 AM until a few minutes ago…
Black ice all over, so no chance of getting take-out – but we are prepared.
Sorry that I don’t thank everyone individually, but it’s nearly 4 PM now and I’ve only eaten one banana and didn’t have coffee (my stomach agreed with green tea more).
Thanks! I guess you have a good memory ~ even at your age…..(just kidding). You are the only one that wished me a happy half-birthday ~ I’m going to have to talk to my family!! I should get 1/2 a cake at least!
Sounds like you had a wonderful and fun birthday. Best wishes for many, many more!
Enjoy the rest of your special day!
I knew why I stayed up extra late (3 am here)!
Thank you so much!
Still listening to Linus and Lucy.
Happy Birthday!
I’m not getting any heads up emails so this was a surprise for me. 😀
I hope you have the best of all possible birthdays. 🙂
Please write to me at this name, at gmail, so I can troubleshoot your address.
The one I have is definitely on the invitation.
I changed it long ago when you asked me to, but something must be wrong.
…
Check your junk mail too… some email servers put messages with more than two or three recipients in the junk or spam.
I can help you figure it out.

I’m glad you were born.
!6 minutes from now will be the time when I was delivered – black ice back then, too: The midwife barely made it in time…
I’m glad she did! 😀
😀
Happy Birthday, Tigressy!
I know a feast will be coming, but here is some finger food to keep the guests from complaining:
Thanks, Dennis… yes, I got delayed, sorry.
But the crew is setting up, and the food is almost ready.
Meanwhile… please tell me those aren’t chocolate frosted carrots… ulp…
Whatever they are, they do look very tiger-ish.
Glad to get a chance to make a contribution before the big guns kicked in.
Chocolate frosted cheese sticks?
Very nice. But I was expecting actual fingers.
Tigressy, you and your posts…
I came across this on fb.

6 months from or to the actual birthday.
HAPS BIRFDAY, TIGRESSY!
You need to teach that camel to say Happy Birthday. Hope you are still doing good!
Up and “walking” with a cane. One day at a time.
great news!!!
Cool! That is good to hear.
Do what your PT (and nurses) say!
Congratulations!
Days add up… eventually the time it took will fade, but the progress will remain…
And so will the added time stretching ahead.
You’ll be so glad for this.
Good to see you.
Good job, Plods! You will be running with beer again, just keep at it!
