Snoopy is doing a Waltz Jump, the first jump you learn in skating. Just a half turn but it feels pretty cool. If you make 3.5 turns it is a triple Axel.
I drop in on this site every month or so to see what’s new as well.
I suspect the owner(s?) have now made the auxiliary camera view from the other side of the road (those unfamiliar see attachment or earlier accident videos) available for viewing only to Patreon subscribers at the $16.00 a month level.
It’s understandable, because everything has to be maintained, but I do miss the other perspective. 🙁
On the bright side, the Patreon site also implies that there are enough subscribers to keep the main camera view going. 🙂
For years we would wrap the presents from Santa for our 4 kids while watching White Christmas on TV on Christmas Eve. So we have watched that movie every year since!
What a delight to see your wonderful poster, Stel. Thanks for the memories!
There being but the rest of the 16th of December, and 8 full days until Christmas thereafter, I’m posting a long time family favourite carol.
We first heard it in Christ Church Cathedral (Anglican) in Vancouver, British Columbia in the late sixties or early seventies.
The rendition I’ve posted below, by the Saint Thomas Choir of Men & Boys, Fifth Avenue, New York, is excellent.
The attachment will give you the origins, and lyrics.
Supposedly in stock at a Wally World near me. 🥔
I do hope so, because Loblaws type stores haven’t had any for at least a month and Safeway and Sav-On are out to lunch on their regular pricing.
Spectacular?….no, but as a quick addition to in-a-hurry potatoes or rice it’s actually not bad.
After reading about London, England gas shortages on the web (always an accurate source for information) I looked up the price per litre there; the only information I can find says it’s about $2.50 Canadian. I’m paying $1.36 per litre.
Weirdly, I can’t find a single London gas station that lists its prices on its website.

I bought my mom that. She had to see it every year.
Just posted today.

These are entertaining videos, but I think I see their problem. There is signage all over the intersection indicating that the clearance is 12′ 4″.
And, apparently, you can’t see all of it.
There is supposed to be signage before you even get there.
Love this one! Absolutely love it!! I like the other snow globe, too.

StelBel, I love your basset snow globe. And the old and new versions of the Drifters singing White Christmas were a lot of fun.
