Spoiler
There’s Burt — where’s Ernie?

I was going to say “The Crimson Pirate” but looks more like “The Flame and the Arrow”

He probably had to help to her keep calmed down during his sermon. Hopefully,
God sent him messages as he was giving his sermon to understand and help the children that he couldn’t father and share. It ain’t easy!

I think i remember that incident.
Wasn’t she a little Downs Syndrome victim?

Yes… but… and this is not just for you, but everyone:

Please don’t say victim. Or sufferer.

She’s a happy little girl with Down’s syndrome.

….

There were stories in the news about the Pope inviting her up on stage with him…
But that turned out not to be true.

It was a meeting between the Pope and representatives of the Special Olympics.

She was chosen to present him with a pair of Olympic logo running shoes, which she did quite well.

But afterwards she didn’t want to leave the stage, and climbed onto the chair next to him, so he held her hand.

I know. Wrong choice of words. I have two adopted cousins that were born with Downs.
Good kids that were not supposed to become adults.
Timmy has a job and an apartment with a roomy.
Windy is in a group home, but also has a job.

I’m unfamiliar with that warning… “Not Suitable for General Exhibition”, which obviously predates the modern US rating system.

I wonder when and where it was used, and what it denoted… were there categories, or were violence, racy content, and any other possible offenses lumped together?

And who decided?
Did it affect ticket sales, or distribution?

The attachment below comes from     HERE.

I’ll leave you to do the research on your question about ticket sales.

The guy in the middle looks kind of like John Wayne. I had to look it up to make sure he wasn’t in it.

Here’s the U.R.L. for the episode.
It’s one of the really good ones.

I’ve said it before… Even though the episode info is in your URL, that link never takes me there.

I have to jump through a couple of CAPTCHA hoops and then it opens to a numbered list of all the seasons, starting with season one, with the episodes also numbered, and no titles.

I guess I should write down the numbers from the URL… Looks like this is Season 3, episode 1?

Anyway, thanks… But spoiler boxes are also appreciated.

I must have missed your previous comment.
When I check the link immediately after posting it takes me right to the countdown timer with the season and episode box in the upper left set properly at the season and episode in the U.R.L. I posted, and no captcha box.
After finally reading about your problem, I went back and checked. There is a glitch in the programming. This time the captcha showed up, and the episode box was reset to Season 1 Episode 1.
Fortunately, all you have to do to overcome the problem is to “check” the captcha box and when the countdown and episode screen appears just set the season and episode number in the appropriate menu. The count down clock will reset to 10 seconds. When it hits zero a little box with a left arrow will appear at the top left of the box the timer is in. Click it, and the episode will begin.

1)   Check the captcha box
2)   Set the Season and Episode menus
3)   Wait for the countdown to finish.
4)   Click on the “left arrow” box
5)   All being well, your episode will begein.

I hope my step-by-step is clear enough (if it isn’t, I’ll try again). If it is clear enough I hope it gets you to the episode. I’m at a loss if it doesn’t.

Thank you, but really, Alexi, I thought you could tell from all my research that i know how to use the Internet and websites!

Do you really think you need to instruct people on following.menus?

The problem isn’t not knowing how to get to the episode…

As I said, it’s taking note of the season and episode number in the URL, which I hadn’t bothered doing, thinking I was being taken there, and you didn’t say them in your post.

There are plenty of ways to get to it, if you know where you want to go…

No reason to fret over someone missing a prompt or not being able to follow simple on-screen directions…

Including just using the pulldown menus.

Thanks, Alexi, at least this time I got further along than I’ve done previously, even went searching and found one of my favourite “classics” (The Avengers).

THAT was a tough one. Might have been the trigger for the use of the (2 available) atomic bombs. Better in a way that we understood what they could do, but at what a price. Certainly changed history!

Most descriptions label this Chicago, Illinois, in 1940.

One site adds that it’s the Polar Bear Cool Air Movie Theater.

Personally…. I love the dresses from the last few years of the 1930’s till WWII was over.

We’re watching our son’s 2 goldens (lost ours a few years ago, so this is a treat!)
They are very jealous of who is getting attention and treats. Lovely, loving dogs, but make sure they don’t get slighted ! ! !

Raindrops, yeah. We’ve had 0.05 inches of rain so far in SoCal compared to floods last year. Looks like it’s shifted north (and south) this year. Gilda’s restaurant on the Santa Cruz pier washed away. Glad my aunts aren’t around to hear this. That was one of their favorites. At the same time, the Antarctic ice has increased 17%. The cycles are continuing as usual. Fun times.

Raining right here right now in N Cal.

We’re 170% over normal for this “water year”… but that’s misleading because the water year starts late in September.

The September 2023 to 2024 water year was a bit below normal, and no one can reliable predict whether this current abundance will continue for the next 9 months.

However, we’ve already had a large percentage of a full year’s worth in the last three months, so we’re hopeful.

Don’t want floods, of course… but enough to keep the cows and grapes happy.

Ski slopes??!!

It’s that what you SoCal boyz think it’s like everywhere North of San Luis Obispo?

The ski slopes are far east of here… Tahoe, the Sierras and such.

We have some hard freezes around dawn, sometimes… But today it’s 62° and tonight will be in the 50s.

30″ of rain in a normal year, Sept to Sept, but 26″ so far this year.

A light, quickly disappearing snow, maybe once every 20 years or so… I only remember one that stayed on the ground for an hour, in 1991.

No snowshoes or parkas, and no skis within an hour’s drive… Maybe 3, I dunno, I don’t go looking for mountains to fall down on 😁

She was still Betty Joan Perske in this picture. Her mother’s name is Natalie.
