Today’s Songs:
1. ‘Classical Gas,’ 2. ‘Come Together,’ 3. ‘Conquistador,’ and 4. ‘Cows With Guns,’ and the ‘Cheap Thrills Cuisine’ recipe 5. ‘ Chicken Prosciutto Rolls.’
1. Originally titled ‘Classical Gasoline’ by Mason Williams, music copyist (at the time / he later went on to compose the theme songs to ‘The Rockford Files’, ‘The A Team’, and ‘Quantum Leap’ to name but three) Mike Post inadvertently shortened it to ‘Classical Gas’, and it stuck. Williams himself was head writer for the ‘Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour’ at the time and debuted the song on the show.
2. The title comes from Timothy Leary’s 1969 campaign slogan (‘Come Together – Join the Party!’) against Ronald Reagan in California. Leary was busted and jailed before it really got off the ground. Lennon, and Leary met at the Montreal bed-in; where Leary asked him for a campaign song.
3. As promised, ‘Procol Harum’ with the ‘Edmonton Symphony Orchestra’ playing ‘Conquistador’. The band and the orchestra are having fun! !
4. Dana Lyons again, the same singer who sang ‘RV’ in list one. This is the song that got me interested in his music (it’s so far off the wall it’s outside the house). I ordered the album directly from the production company around 2006. He lives in Washington state.
5. I don’t know why they keep calling for plastic wrap as a cover; as I said before, the first blow will put a hole in it. The recipe is simple though and sounds good.

I love the whiskers!
Reminds me of a cartoon character I can’t place.
Yes…
But not a dog.
A weasel or some such…
Like from “Who framed Roger Rabbit”…
Yes, but not one of those.
A white one with a big nose like this.
And he was chasing an acorn…a really tasty acorn!!!
That would be “Scrat.” I don’t think he’s who I was remembering, but he’s good all the same.
NOSE!
EYES !

Cat a little skittish, is it?
Cucumbers!!! Why did it have to be cucumbers???
Imagine a Zuccho twice her size (make that four at least) and her sharpening her talons at it. But that’s Europe where no green snakes linger.
NOSE!
Big green nose ☺?
Apparently it’s a meme…
There are tons of pictures online of cats being startled by cucumbers, and jumping away.
Usually you can hear their owners laughing loudly.
…
It’s thought that cats think for a moment that cucumbers are big green snakes, which terrify them.
I also saw a couple of vets imploring people not to pull this mean trick on their cats just for YouTube views.
They think it’s funny but the cats certainly don’t.
I would never have known that before today. Probably not after next week, too.
find the squirrel
They’re all squirrrels, except one!
They have big bushy tails and no kitty whiskers.
What else would they be?
…
However, I believe one of them is a mouse, with Mickey type ears, and a skinny tail.
…
Hesitant as I am to try to outfox a puzzle, after getting shot down yesterday, and losing my confidence…
I’m going to surmise, anyway, that this should be labeled “Find the Mouse.”
And I did….
If anybody has any luck finding a squirrel instead…
I’m listening!
Thank you.
I thought that something looked odd.
Got it
oops!—well, you gotta admit that made the puzzle a little more challenging
I reached the same conclusion in my first pass thru.
Hard NOT to!

You know how it is when you’re in the mid… SQUIRREL ! … uh, where was I?
Spock and Uhura.
Rumors confirmed
Damn! She picked him instead of me! I always had a thing for Uhura.
what’s wrong with having a thing for spock?
Gotta love a woman who can communicate.
…,.
Follow the yellow brick road.
Watch out where the huskies go – and don’t you eat that yellow snow…
Don’t pass unless you can see a clear lane in front of you. Especially if a coyote or a roadrunner is wielding the paintbrush!

Logic follows that there would be an Orchound?
“Brother Orchound”, starring E.G. Doginson.

Those were all AWSOME! I’ve always enjoyed the orchestration of Conquistador. Cows With Guns was a new one; LOL, Hysterical!
Sacher Torte
No, that isn’t. Misses apricot jam.
I won’t.
oops! This isn’t my day….
DOES look good!
