My brother had a Great Dane that would lay her butt over on the couch first. And sometimes stop there. Sitting on her butt, front feet standing on the floor.
I found a clearer picture.
The dimensions listed for the footlocker are 6 1/2″ × 3″ × 2 3/8″.
Accepting 1/16″ as wall thickness the interior dimensions are 6 3/8″ × 2 7/8″ × 2 1/4″
Accepting that all finished pieces contain the same volume of plastic (I know that’s not practical) then each finished piece would reduce to a cube 0.74433227711324971648500698110078″ on a side (that’s a smidgeon under 3/4″).
Banana flavoring, blatantly artificial as it is, and gross as I ought to find it, is one of the only fruit flavorings, I enjoy.
I love fruit, and things made with real fruit, but not fruit “flavored” candy or beverages…
No Kool-Aid, No Fanta.. I almost like orange flavor Jello, and every now and then I’ll eat a few bites of some other flavor Jello at a buffet
…
But give me some good old fake banana taffy, banana flavored marshmallow “Circus Peanuts”, or banana Kits, that other people consider inedible, and I love them.
I really miss banana popsicles… the only flavor I would eat, except, of course, for Fudgicles. Where did they go?
I remember “Banana Quik”, strangely, not that “banana-y”, but, also strangely, was a quite enticing flavour to me and my older sister. We would even just take a spoonful dry, into the mouth, no milk.
Same with the “Strawberry Quik”.
We kids were weird back then…
A picture link of Sam Rockwell as Bob Fosse and Michelle Williams as Gwen Verdon in the Hulu biographical drama series “Fosse/Verdon” you were asking JanLC about.
Scroll down to the episode list and select by left clicking.
Then click through the clutter (make sure you get the “x” on the small clutter in the centre, and just close out the big clutter (if any, there shouldn’t be a this phase in the process / if you need to reselect the episode; just do so; it’s tedious, but you will get there) by closing the tab as usual, and then go full screen.
Here’s the real Gwen Verdon as Lola.
P.S.
This is the site I use to watch the “Quantum Leap” reboot; which is finally back from that modern day abomination, the mid-season-hiatus.
I’ve got eight, I think. So for the ninth diff, here is my solution. See the waitress in the foreground, center? See her name tag? In the left side image, her name is Marla. In the right side image, it’s Maria. That’s my answer, and I’m sticking with it.
I looked at it on YouTube… this is the only info posted with the video:
“May 17, 2010
Anita had not been in Polar Zoo in about 2 months. When she returned i had the chance to film her first meeting in a long time with the wolves she spent a long time socializing from 16th of May 2008. The video is recorded in Polar Zoo and any questions related to socializing process should be taken with them. For more information about the socialized wolf pack go to http://www.polarzoo.no”
I checked out Polar Zoo… turns out we usually call it “Polar Park” in English. It’s a wildlife park in Norway. I used the above link and also
My first impression was “Wooooh Boy!!!” The differences were a bit hard to locate, but if you persevere they do eventually pop out. A challenge, for certain!
Found seven after a long time looking, checked solution and missed the blue sleeve and the N, man I looked at that a lot and still did not see it, way to small for us old folks
.
They just dont make furniture correctly for you, do they?
Maybe he just needs to be taught “butt in first.”
Sometimes a toddler will do the same thing… put his/her head and torso on the chair, and have to be taught to climb in correctly.
I knew a little girl who liked to take naps that way…. feet on the ground.
Can’t you just picture this guy sitting upright, maybe with his book in his lap?
He probably is comforted by the smell of his owners.

My brother sent in for a 1950’s version… the ads looked almost the same for many years, so I bet the toy stayed the same, too.
He thought they’d be like his regular “green army men”, and he’d have a huge force when he played with his friends.
…
But no…. they were WAY smaller …. flatter, less detailed, and mostly unable to stand.
At least this more modern ad has a clue… my brother didn’t get a footlocker.
How small do 100 toys have to be if they all come packed in a box that’s 6 1/2″ long and half that wide?
A friend of mine did also. Same thing. Flat.
I found a clearer picture.

Ooooh! I lusted after those back in the day. The Civil War set was a particular longing (during the centenary 1961-65)
You should’ve told us two days ago, and we could’ve gotten it for your b-day. Oh well, I’ll just have to remember for next year. ☺
..
The banana ones were the best.

You may be able to get these at a Safeway near you.
There are other brands, but Nestlé discontinued theirs in Canada.

December 7, 1941
OK… now I see.
Nighthawks.. it’s January!
Just think, 18 days from now, and it will be Christmas; where did the time go?
It took me a minute.
I saw the page header and then you said that, and for a moment I thought maybe I’d accidentally gone back a month on Cleo.
But the January 7th puzzle is up above, so I must be on the right page!
There are those of us who like aircraft on this site…..
It’s going to be auctioned off too ! !
From elsewhere in place and time.

Lola is entertaining, but hardly a seductress.
thanks, alexi, i’ll do that when i have some free time next week.
Here I am with the puzzle solution… not late, in my time zone, but a bit later than usual, due to problems with my image upload site…
But meanwhile… where are all my Puzzle People?
Yoo hoo! Puzzle Pals… Cleofans… I have your solooootion! Come out and play!
…
I hope nobody was intimidated by the complexity… there are nine differences and you can find them!
Give it the ol’ college try… this puzzle being a college or maybe high school hangout….
Then check your solution…
I’ve got eight, I think. So for the ninth diff, here is my solution. See the waitress in the foreground, center? See her name tag? In the left side image, her name is Marla. In the right side image, it’s Maria. That’s my answer, and I’m sticking with it.
i only got 5!! no more time left to peruse!
Dang, only 6. One was too small for my old eyes, the other two I should have seen.
Not a difference: The girl dancing has one short sleeve and one long sleeve… strange.
Another “tuff one”, but I did finally manage to find all 9. A very busy scene once again.
OK… writing January 7, 2022 I understand…
But DECEMBER 2023????
Hey, I was going to delete this if you fixed the date… but how can I delete your like?
That wouldn’t be nice of me… 🙂
Boy, time really flies when you’re having fun.
Can you provide background on Anita and the wolves?
I looked at it on YouTube… this is the only info posted with the video:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polar_Park_(animal_park)
to see more about the place…
But I saw nothing more about “Anita”.
“December” 7?????
$23.99 (Canadian) + GST/HST + shipping + handling + ….whatever else they can grab.
French’s didn’t introduce the squeeze bottle until 1974.
The White Mountains are in New Hampshire.
ayuh!
And in Arizona.
sorry everyone!–apparently, my brain is in a fog
Japanese Tempura
I’m not sure about this….
so, anybody care to weigh in here on the puzzle today?…..too difficult?
I’ve found one! Maybe I’ll try again later…
Is four good??? Little tough for me and I don’t have a lot of time today.
it wasn’t ‘fun’ the 1st one was, but there’s no inspiration.
A little to tough. The only one that I can really object to is
A puzzle this detailed should have larger differences (as you can tell by other responses, even the larger differences were hard to find).
My first impression was “Wooooh Boy!!!” The differences were a bit hard to locate, but if you persevere they do eventually pop out. A challenge, for certain!
Found five before it got tiresome. If it’s not fun, I’m out.
Found seven after a long time looking, checked solution and missed the blue sleeve and the N, man I looked at that a lot and still did not see it, way to small for us old folks
Yes, I still cant see it. Have to get that cataract surgery.
Thanks to everybody for giving me a memorable birthday (and on time too!) Special thanks to Susan and Candi!
Steve. X
You’re very welcome!
And it’s about time we got it right.
😀
