We went there the day after. Or as the Picayune calls it TRash Wednesday!

Found out that Brennan’s has a morning happy hour on some days and the breakfast champagne is half off. Was cheaper than retail.

Lots of restaurants served riffs on Eggs Benedict – but always with buttermilk biscuits instead of English muffins. We’ve adopted the practice at home. In fact, that will be tomorrow’s breakfast – biscuit, smoked salmon, poached eggs, and Sauce Aurore (Hollandaise with tomato past to make a lovely pink for Valentine’s Day).

Today, we’ll start with beignets. Then Ralph Brennan’s shrimp for lunch. Jambalaya (pork and andouille) for dinner.

I’m not an adventurous eater. I’d rather sing about the food than eat it:

Or: Use your parents garage, which is the Apple, and Microsoft, origins story.

But you would expect it for Harley.

True!

Hewlett-Packard also started in a garage, back in 1939.
It’s now a dedicated historical landmark.

That’s not the oldest on the list, though.

We think of it as a modern tech phenomenon… But that Disney garage, which is actually where Walt Disney was living, after temporarily going bankrupt, was in 1923.

And technically, Harley Davidson started in a shed.

There weren’t many garages, per se, because in 1901, who owned a car? Some homes did have stables and sheds, though.

I honestly don’t want all of it. Just some.

May I have the rest?

The extra won’t bother me, honestly.

And there are people I could help.

Took me a couple of looks. How em•bare•ass•ing. Note: it wasn’t the shoulder that I saw on my first two looks.

I saw this among others on a click-bait site a few years ago. These things are almost always accidents that don’t get noticed at first, but definitely get shared when they are found.

Yeah there’s a whole website, maybe more than one, devoted to these accidental shots.

I suppose some might be posed, but the ones I saw all looked unintentional.

Some were like this, others actually did show more than was probably intended, especially outfits that should have left more to the imagination.

Also, a neighbor had a friend, a would-be photographer, take pictures at her wedding, and there was one that was very unfortunate.

I saw it but she never put it in her album, and her mother, who featured in the photo, made her tear it up.

They insisted the friend destroy the negative, as well, and it caused a rift.

I’m friends with the mother, not her daughter, the bride, so I don’t know who speaks to whom these days.

Had i accidentally taken a photo that seemed to show something it didn’t, I wouldn’t have argued about it.

I’m not saying more just on the miniscule chance my friend ever reads this.

Wouldn’t it be a special effect it had on 20 year old Carrie Fisher, to make her go for 46 year old Leonard Nimoy?

I recognized her in the young picture, barely… but it surprised me to realize how much she looked like a man!

For a moment she looked to me like Tom Hanks on that old TV show where he played a guy who had to dress like a woman, for some theoretically humorous reason.

What a gorgeous poster from Stel Bel. So colorful and twinkly. It’s good to see Cleo all decked out too, with her mask and beads.

Wow… Cleo is ready….

her ears silky, her accoutrements a-twinkle…

this is the glamorous Cleo, the movie star we expect, but seldom see.

Donning a purply (sorry, not sorry) velvet cape, to top off her ensemble….

she’ll assume the role of Kween Kleo.

Riding the float for the Kanine Karnivale Krewe, she’ll be out front tossing kibble and kandy…..

Watch for your chance to grab some Mardi Gras luck!

And Kleo…. er, I mean Cleo

leave the bazooka home, OK?

You can do that, this one time.
