It is an exceptionally eye-catching and memorable bird.
That bill has got to be a formidable weapon, whether offensive or defensive.

So the Mom says, “You’re driving me nuts! Go out and play in the yard!”
The kid says, “But Mom, everything’s covered in snow!”
And Mom says sweetly, “‘Honey Bun’, if you don’t want me to be impossible to live with, see if you can find a way to let Junior play outside.”
And “Honey Bun” says, “It’s the Super Bowl! I’ll miss the halftime show!”
Dead silence….
Then reason returns to “Honey Bun” as he contemplates the abyss.
Here’s the result.

Just in case anybody doesn’t recognize it…
This is not a wrecked house…..

It’s all open in back because

it’s..
a movie set…

in fact, it’s…
the famed Basset Motel, where Antony Barkins played Norman Basset

in
Alfred Hitchdog’s “Psycho”!

Yes i found it. I’m still protesting. Not all spiderwebs are classic orbs. Look at a black widow web.

But I think in a puzzle you expect to be looking for something standard….

The same sort of spiderweb you expect to see on your Halloween decorations, just so everyone knows what it is.

Yes… Very difficult to see.

But Montana Lady, thankfully, is still with us… just unable to join us here.

Still, besides those you mentioned, JLess and Katina Cooper (Executive producers JLessismore and Puptina Woofer) both mysteriously disappeared not long after.

X_Tech had just passed away… his name was meant to be in the credits but Stel took it out.

(PerkyCat was gone, but has since come back to GoComics… but not Cleo. And I believe Rotifer still posts there too.)

I felt there were more, just wanted to err on the optimistic side. I haven’t seen Rotifer in any of my haunts on goComics :o(

I had bookmarked a few random people on Go Comics.
Rotifer had commented on Frog Applause 3 days ago.
Perkycat had commented on The Big Picture about 9 hours ago.
I hope this helps.
