So now you’ll have to copy, paste, and close the sections…. and then copy and paste that now complete U.R.L. into the address bar.
Why the Dailymotion people have their site programmed the way they do is anyone’s guess, but I agree it’s annoying.
In future I’ll post any U.R.L.s from that site broken up in the first place.
Does it happen on your phone?
I thought my tablet was the only one.
I’ve never even heard of it happening before.
I don’t think it’s anything Alexi does…. At least not on purpose.
In fact, I’m pretty sure you can’t do that to someone else’s device.
It might be some kind of weird glitch in how my tablet responds when I link to the website those videos are on….
Or some kind of unknown setting on my tablet.
I’m hoping somebody knows!
I didn’t post it as a complaint… just out of curiosity.
Her outfit looks Romani but I think it’s just the fashion.
The late 19th century saw lots of influence from middle and far eastern motifs, lots of velvet and embroidery, to add to their already ornate taste in decor.
See the small table… With a beautiful fringed shawl…”twig” furniture like that was popular, also lamps, side tables and ottomans made of antlers and even elephant feet (sniffle).
A rather well-to-do family could afford stylish clothing, exotic fabrics, and roller skates…. and probably a photographer to take portraits.
But they couldn’t have a giant human, so they made it about a giant ape!
“King Ape” didn’t have much of a ring to it, and besides, they wanted it to sound more like King Hound, so they named it “King Kong”.
Dopey, right? It doesn’t mean anything.
They wanted a beautiful human actress in it… you know, box office…. so in their poster the ape holds a woman in his hand.
A teeny (by comparison) woman and a giant ape. Horrifying!
Hounds are natural protectors.
King Hound wouldn’t threaten a woman!
….
Anyway…. I found nine differences….
If you want to see them (after you try, of course)…
Seven were fairly easy to spot, the eighth was found because I thought there had to be at least one there, and I couldn’t see anywhere else they could be, but I looked straight past the ninth, even though it had to be there as well 🙁
I am sure Fluffy would have been very interested in the birds, and heavily invested in any catnip that Mme. might have grown. I wonder if she partook of the cannabis as well, and what effect it might have had. Mellowed out and happy, so she would leave Tweety alone? Munchies?
.
She’s so pretty that she has a heart on her nose!
“You talkin’ to me?”

In response to Susan and Tigressy below, I’ve broken up the U.R.L.
The spaces are between:

Again!
You post a Popeye cartoon and it plays the moment I open the page.
I hadn’t even scrolled near it, didn’t know it was here.
I heard the music while trying to read earlier posts, and had to come looking for the source!
Not only does it start by itself, even after I turn it off…. after the end it keeps on playing other cartoons!
Same, but without sound.
On my smartphone if not on free WiFi that kind of thing costs me.
Please don’t do that.

Good edit. Now it can be pasted and modified easily.
You can actually paste it and remove the spaces right in the address bar of your browser.
It looks like a “Wallace & Gromit” claymation.
Nope.
Aeon Flux?
Very creepy.

“Don’t let the maggots get me…”
Is this Creep Susan Out Day?
….
But it’s not a dark and stormy night as for EWC!
Ben Who?
Who? Him?
..,
Ichthyology quiz! Is she a ray or a skate?

High five!
I think I remember this FTND puzzle, and I remember it being particularly tricky. Six.
The humans made a similar movie….
But they couldn’t have a giant human, so they made it about a giant ape!

Is there some reason I’m craving a hot dog?
Yes!
Only eight.
Seven were fairly easy to spot, the eighth was found because I thought there had to be at least one there, and I couldn’t see anywhere else they could be, but I looked straight past the ninth, even though it had to be there as well 🙁
I don’t know what order yours are in, but the first one of those two, going left to right, was the last thing I found.
The one on the right was the one I missed.
Seven last night, eight this morning. I’m still looking!
Wow! I got nine.
It took me all day, but i got it.
The two I missed I wasn’t paying proper attention (which is, of course, the whole point of these puzzles).
Parisian Woman with her cat, in her Cannabis Garden, 1910’s.
I am sure Fluffy would have been very interested in the birds, and heavily invested in any catnip that Mme. might have grown. I wonder if she partook of the cannabis as well, and what effect it might have had. Mellowed out and happy, so she would leave Tweety alone? Munchies?
I’d rather assume she had planted the hemp for the birds – green and seeds.
And herself – I bet there was a tax on tobacco.
Well, judging by the cat’s eyes . . .
Ha. That was my first thought.
…they must be blue.
Victoria hasn’t been mentioned on the news, but did your sister feel a bit of the Sechelt earthquake yesterday?
I’ll have to ask her.
We usually email or talk every few days, but sometimes not for a week or two.
If she felt it, it probably wasn’t dramatic enough to make her call me immediately with the news.😁
Looks like JP Steve would be more likely to have been affected.
Only found out about it an hour later when I turned on the radio!
My sister only found out when a neighbor told her early this morning.
Neat trick, but his steering has got to be badly compromised.
