I’d appreciate them more if they didn’t scare away all of the other birds. We have five blue jays living in a tree by our feeders. When they aren’t hungry, they’ll take turns swooping on the smaller birds attempting to eat.
I’ll get one or two California jays, which look different from the eastern model, strutting about amongst my potted plants, loudly announcing that no other birds are welcome.
There’s no feeder… They just come to drink from.the saucers, and pick at the occasional sowbug, or whatever they can find
Funny that the big birds, mostly mockingbirds and robins, pay attention, and fly away.
WOW !!! Joni Mitchell, in that video looks exactly like my wife did when I met her (except eye color). My wife also does a pretty good job singing Joni’s songs

I’m worried about
She last posted on GoComics on Monday, January 22, and here on Saturday, February, 10.
Even if you can’t tell us, does anybody know why?
She told us that she fell and hurt herself, and was having a hard time recovering.
I emailed her last week but she hasn’t answered.
I’m hoping she has family visiting to help her, and no time for the likes of us… But I don’t know.
