Chickadee!
Their call sounds like their name.
The more dee dee dees in the call, the more agitated they are.

Those were covers over different instruments that were ejected after landing.
On the bottom photo you can see a little soil sampler.
It came down on an ejected cover so we didn’t get any science from that instrument.

I’ve got to find my laser pointer.
I don’t know if Fawn has ever seen one.

My search results said this is an illustration from the medieval French “Livre de chasse” (Book of the Hunt).
But most gave no date and called it anonymous.

Getty images provided much more information:
They say 1387-1389, by Gaston III, Count of Foix (1331-1391)
The book is dedicated to Philip the Bold, Duke of Burgundy.

This image is the care of hunting dogs.
Miniature. Conde Museum, Chantilly, France.

Crazy that they got the pilot to fly through the soundstage, that doorway doesn’t look very wide…. 😉

Yes, I think so, but…

Hint…
The heart i found looks kind of added to the picture.
Maybe it’s not… But it doesn’t look like the rest.

Here’s my

SOLUTION….

It’s a dark, solid, speckled grey 🩶, just a tiny bit up from the lower right corner.

I know it’s been a while….

We thought they’d never end… But then they stopped.

So you may not realize

that you have
once again entered The Twilight Zone!

This is
Dean Jagger and Carmen Matthews, in a 1961 episode called “Static.”

and she’s…
Jacqueline Bisset

This is…

From the actor I could extrapolate the movie, even though I’ve never seen it.

Me too.

I did look it up to verify…

Especially the woman.

I didn’t remember that she was in the movie, but I thought I recognized her face from her famous poster.

A Royal Navy sailor stands near the forward 6inch (152mm) turrets of a very ice-encrusted HMS Belfast. The Town class light cruiser was escorting a convoy to the Soviet Union in 1943 when this photo was taken.

Only Cleo would call a huge “DO NOT!” practically an invitation.

But of course, our miscreants don’t get punished…

They no doubt just walk away, while dozens, maybe hundreds, of people are blasted into the skies.

Oh well.

From today’s London “Daily Mail” (the combination may be American, but I’ve never seen it done this way).

…and another item (from the “Born On This Day” section.
I have long thought that, like the people in charge of governments, the people in charge of the mob never give up a source of revenue.

Might be pretty good with a few changes…

Maybe cos it’s an English recipe and they’re iffy about peanut butter… I estimate that 50 grams of it is less than 1/4 cup. You’d hardly taste it.

PB cookies need at least 3\4 U.S. cup, and most recipes have a whole cup!

And much less flour. Some have none. I’d say 100 gm is more than enough. The sugar and butter seem ok with I cup PB…. Except we don’t have golden (or any) caster sugar. Use white or brown.

I personally don’t like raspberry jam…. But I recently discovered Smuckers cherry preserves, which would be great!

Cleveland Space Corps!
Instead of putting a building sized rocket up there, just put a building up.
