And I STILL missed it. LOL. I have to start enlarging the pictures (or at least looking closer). The letters are small and I assumed it was the photo credit. At least I did recognize the adult.
I don’t know my French planes. The US supplied the Hawk 75 (export version of the P-36); that does look like one. But there were French planes of that period of similar layout.
Hey, folks, give Susan your real name and phone number (she’s very discreet) so we can check on you if you don’t show up once in awhile. She has mine, and hasn’t disclosed it unless allowed. We’ll keep tabs on her as well, just in case she gets washed away in a northern California flood or overdoses on In-And-Out burgers and fries.
Um…. Nighthawks…
I hate to mention this, but…. uh…
never mind.
I’m just going to guess that….
Dwayne Johnson, just like it says on the… er…the … caption.
(aka The Rock)

Never would have guessed if not for the, um, spoiler.
A testament to the value of braces!
I think I’ve got it… 😉
I GOT ONE!
I GOT ONE!!
I FINALLY GOT ONE!!!
.
..
Apple snail?
“You called?”
Oooh! Break out the butter and garlic!!!
Family size.
But those is too cute.
eeewwwww
.,
I didn’t dig deep, but i didn’t find anything on E.F. Guy.
It has a radiator and muffler, fixed landing gear, and fabric covered wings (you can see the ribs). LOL
..,
That checks out — it’s a French plane. The British roundel has the blue on the outside.

“These came ‘special delivery’.”
Just drooling on them to deactivate any hidden explosives.
,,.,
Is that you, Oliver?
,
He’s just checking the insides of his eyelids.
Trying to hijack the meal carts on their way down the aisle.
Hey, if your head were down there, tucked in tight between rows of stinky feet, you might want to stick it out in the aisle too.
Still at feet level, but at least there’s slightly fresher air, and more elbow room.
BUNNY!
I have some stuff to do, so I’ll be back with the rest of my comments…
But before I go I just have to announce:
WE FOUND DENNIS!
Nighthawks spoke to him… He’s been hospitalized; I don’t know why.
But he said he’ll be discharged soon, and back to commenting on Cleo as soon as he’s able!
…
I knew his last name all along…
.
But he never gave me his phone number or address and
I’m generally very conscientious about people’s privacy.
When I finally found a website that showed his information, I was hesitant to use it because he’d never given me permission.
I also didn’t want his wife to have any worries about an unknown woman calling, if he couldn’t answer the phone himself.
….
So I passed the info to Nighthawks, who was kind enough to make the call…. And to keep trying the number, with no answer.
Finally Dennis himself replied to his message.
I’m sure we’ll hear more of the story at some point, but whether or not we do….
I’m relieved to hear that one more of our Cleo family is safe!
…
This is welcome news, indeed! Thank you for sharing.
“Hooray!!!” Hope it was from too much partying or something equally debauched.

She has mine – but I’ll better give her my husband’s emails, too.
Done.
grand idea!
Where do we send said information?
I’ll be making a separate post about that….
For now, those who have joined the birthday list already have my email address, if they’ve put it in their address books or saved any of my emails.
I know you’re not on that list, and some probably haven’t saved anything, but I’ll be posting it here…
And some questions everybody might want to consider before writing.
Thank you!
I was intending to post that last night, but I never got back here till now.
Happy news!
Thank you Susan. I’m so happy to hear(?) it.
Good! Good news!
LOL LOL LOL The 7 chihuahuas!
to show you what kinda guy Dennis is, when I talked to him and asked how he was doing, he brushed that aside and asked about Stel…..
