Are these spectacular constructions made from lots of custom bricks? (There’s more than regular rectangles going on here…)

There may be some…. But there are a lot of straight bricks made into curves.

I wish the image were more clear… But you can tell that each white curl of the surf has a square brick, maybe two, in it, and some triangular pieces.

The whole thing must be pretty large, to encompass that design.

I’d love to see a person standing nearby for scale.

Trump’s inaugural speech (again, as I did with Biden’s resignation letter, I class this as history, not politics / I’ve set it to begin about 5 seconds before he speaks / ABC feed).

There’s a little dog on YouTube…. I’ve seen several “shorts” with him… who does that constantly.

People pet him and say he’s cute… especially now that he’s a YouTube star… so of course now he walks up to strangers and lies down, to get more attention.

His owner can hardly get him down the block.

When the chocolate shop I managed closed, in the nineties, because the company closed all their California stores, they were experimenting with putting ships in odd locations (I thought, anyway) with lower rents.

I was losing my job, so they offered me the Pittsburgh store to manage.

Right. Besides being in beautiful Pittsburg… It had been open two years and had been through four managers.

All I would have to do is move 3,000 miles, all on my own, find a place to live, get used to living and driving in freezing weather (and no doubt buy a car that could take it better than my ancient Volare) and leave everybody I knew.

For a slightly lower salary, because they paid less in Pittsburg. And we’re talking retail salaries, which were low to begin with.

They managed to be surprised when I declined.

I don’t think that store was even open another two years.

Tried To find the Witch Doctor episode by (I think it was Bob Hope) where he was singing to his female inamorata. As the camera pulled back, they were standing in a big pot. She asked, “Well, what does that mean?” He looked up the translation, and it said, “Season well, and boil until tender.”

Maybe someone else here can find it.

Taco Tuesday at The Beach Club today.
3 chicken tacos, an Arnold Palmer, and a good tip for $15.
It will probably be my big meal of the day.

I love CinderBasset!

Especially her beautiful gown with the sparkling crystals.

This is one of the posters I always suggested to Stel when she was wondering what she could rerun, and she laughed at me.
