I strongly suspect that it’s a female bovine, but if it does turn out to be a male bovine we could safely call it a bulldozer.

Can’t wait to get sound again! Tech is coming tomorrow. Also I wish I could figure out how to reset my password on this site, I have tried everything.

But I know most of these songs by heart anyway. That’s why my brain has no room for new information.

The attachment is probably something you’ve tried, but I’m putting it up because it may help others.
I say may because as we know, WordPress programming doesn’t always work the same way with different operating systems; and yours may be one it doesn’t work with.
Click on it to make it bigger. It might be a bit “fuzzy” because I had to shrink it a bit, but it should still be legible.

I’m still seeing your avatar as below, so the system is recognizing you on some level.

Again, I’m just trying to be helpful.
I remember that perkycat received a WordPress answer in her junk email box, so your reset instructions (see attachment / it’s another method you may have already tried) from WordPress may be in yours from one of your attempts.
As always, click on the attachment to make it bigger.

Well, if it feels bad because you made fun of it, Claude, it’ll be a blue blue blue-tooth toothbrush brush.

Especially if it thinks you’re giving it the blue blue blue-tooth toothbrush brush brush-off.

So be kind. It’s still trying to get a handle on life… I bet it hasn’t had many brushes with kindness.

Mine is a version of pecan pie made with Kahlua and Alton Brown’s spiced pecans – get a little heat going there.

Here’s my favourite pie.

From:
My mother’s cookbook (in my mother’s handwriting)

“Lemon Meringue Pie ”

1 cup sugar
5 to 6 tablespoons cornstarch
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 cups hot water

Mix dry ingredients.
Gradually stir in hot water till smooth,
Cook in double boiler stirring till thickened, then cover and cook 10 minutes longer.
Add 3 beaten egg yolks.
First blend in about 1/2 cup of the hot mixture, then add to the mixture gradually blending in well.
Remove from heat.
Then add; 3 tablespoons butter
1/3 cup lemon juice
2 teaspoons grated lemon rind (Grate lemons before cutting).
Blend in carefully and quickly.
Cool, covered with lid, so that a skin does not form on top.
Put in baked pie shell.
Cover with meringue.
Bake at 300 deg. For 15 to 20 minutes, watching so it does not burn.

For baked pie shell
To prevent pie shell from bubbling up, prick pie shell with fork before baking.
Bake on second rack (top rack is first) at 325 deg about 20 minutes. Keep an eye on it from 15 minutes.

“Meringue ”
Beat three egg whites, gradually add 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar, some sugar, a dash
of salt, and a few drops lemon flavouring, if you have it.
When the meringue forms soft peaks and holds its shape, spread on top of pie.
Don’t overbeat until to dry.
Swirl here and there to make peaks, when spreading on pie.

Note from me:
Final bake is on the third rack (top rack is first)
If you don’t want to bother with lemons, ReaLemon© works directly at the volume any recipe requires for lemon juice.

Don’t forget      Blue Berry Pie filling here.

And I thought that wasn’t due until the 14th of March.
On the other hand – there’s no such thing as too much pie.
Make mine savory, please.

I turned 64 this month. My wife had need of me (to jump her car) and she certainly did feed me. So I got my answer to the musical question.
