Yeah. “In their mind’s eye.”
We have one of the same, he thinks he’s a puma, and is really a kitten (going on 10 years)…

Every dog that has lived with her has known who rules the roost.
She is small, but she is fierce.

Whoever created this has a twisted sense of humor. I like it.

This cat looks very self-satisfied. To me, it looks to be long and lean, probably lightning quick, and fast.

It’s a serval… a subSaharan wild African cat.

About twice the size of a very large domestic cat, or three times a small one.

Related to and looks somewhat like the caracal (Shikamoo’s avatar on GoComics) but without the ear tufts.

It’s been crossed with a domestic cat to create the Savannah cat, a currently fashionable domestic breed.

I understand that instead of meowing they hiss.
Not meant to be a threat hiss.
The family that i saw interviewed on tv said that it took a little getting used to, but now they see it as normal.

They have large eyes.

This one’s are closed… Part of his satisfied grin.

In fact, they use their acute vision to hunt.

We are, I gather, approaching the cyclical solar maximum of activity in the next year or two. That should mean larger, more prolonged, more vivid auroras, and extending them to lower latitudes.

Is it rotating?

I don’t think so because the outer edges are pointing straight out, unaffected by the air.

Unless there’s some way that little curl in the middle could gradually pick up the rest….

Like sticking a fork in the middle of your spaghetti and starting to twist.

I didn’t think it worked that way, but I’m no meteorologist.

I see a face in the bottom of that cloud, looking down at the ground. Might have a unicorn horn on it, too.

Me too but the horn would be pointing straight up if the face were vertical.

Like a medieval demon.

Sorry I can’t bring myself to comment on today’s strip, because in order to comment on it, I’d have to think about it.

And in order to think about it, I’d have to acknowledge its existence, and I can’t do that.

Especially because in order to acknowledge its existence, I might have to relate it to a couple of places I actually enjoy eating

and it’s the last thing I want on my mind when I visit them. 😨

Have to pass this story along. Her niece was married to my cousin. I’ve known her most of my life and have called her Aunt Jane. She’s mentally still sharp as a tack!

At 98, this Virginia Beach woman still hits the gym (pilotonline.com)
