A tube of superglue, applied either after the spikes are retracted, or regularly at other times, will cost the owners a lot more than they get in revenue, if this is just a case of advanced level capitalism. If it’s to prevent homeless sleeping on the bench, then a small cost after every time it gets repaired, will keep the spikes retracted, cost the owners money, and allow the homeless to sleep on it..
I typed this before I read Alexikakos’ post, but the intention is still appropriate for such ‘Real Life’ instances.
Their characters are supposed to be around 40 (she being the mother of college age Katherine Ross, for whom he ends up falling.) and 21 (he having just graduated from college.)
In reality, she was just 36, and he was already 29, when the film came out.
And Katherine Ross played his about-to-be love interest at 27.
The caption for this (the box is because it’s fairly lengthy)…
Previously unpublished photos of Liz Taylor — Taylor and Clift’s friendship was strengthened after a series of events. In 1956, around the time they were filming “Raintree County” together, Clift crashed his car outside of Taylor’s house while leaving a party. Taylor reportedly ran to the wreck and pulled broken teeth from Clift’s mouth when he started choking on them, possibly saving his life. Taylor and Clift are shown here walking around the Paramount back lot.

Is it a citrus-related thing with the statins? Given the different statins available, might another drug work for you? e.g. I used to take simvastatin, but had to avoid grapefruit. Now I’m on rosuvastatin, and can eat all the grapefruit I want. Not that I’m beating the drum for grapefruit. Or rosuvastatin.
No. I’m just one of those that react bad (in my case really bad) to them.
Foot pain and memory issues for me. It hit me in my ability to communicate because it made me forget words. I still have the problem just not near as bad.
What I gathered from this video is there is no firm specific evidence of what any cholesterol type does to any given individual.
It’s like statistics; you can predict what the crowd will do accurately but not what the guy in the red hat will do.

It’s an “art” installation by “artist” FABIAN BRUNSING. There’s an explanation at the link and a video of the bench in action.
Whew!
I thought they were “Coming soon to a park near you!”
Yeah, not good to give ‘money-grabbers’ ideas though.
That was my thought.

Nice try.
Trying to avoid the hidden banana.
Slightly over. When the spots start showing. Max sugar!
Green bananas make a lot of people feel sick, though some can tolerate them.
I guess I like them at their lowest vitamin content.
I don’t care… I eat plenty of vegetables.
Not everything has to be everything.
And don’t slip on the peel.
It will take a while to load (open the U.R.L. in a new window so you don’t lose this page) but

Glad you’re back, Nighthawks!
Welcome home… I’m sure Cleo will be happy to fetch your slippers.
Oh… wait… that’s some other dog.
Thanks for posting the puzzle.
I’ll post my solution in a little while, so it won’t be too far ahead of everybody.
that other dog

A little early today. but i’m not going to complain.
Well…. I was going to wait a little longer….
But I have to go out, briefly.
So like Claude, I had an idea…. 💡
I’ll just post the solution now…
And leave Cleo to guard it.
She says she’ll use the slingshot on anybody who peeks before trying to solve it….
But I won’t be responsible if she uses her bazooka!
Woo Hoo!
Got them all.
Missed one, so only eight today.
I got eight this morning. All day to find #9.
Eight here too…
