Talk about giraffe dogs.

They’re born ready for the corps de ballet.

Balanchine would approve.

How do they eat?

Not much room to grow anything up there, so it probably IS carried up all those steps.

This mountain is in China, but it reminds me of my Tibetan friend, who actually grew up in the snowy peaks of Tibet, where nothing grows most of the time.

Her family ate mostly cheese, milk and meat, and bought a little rice, tea, salt and sugar from traders. She said she’d never eaten a vegetable or fruit before her marriage (arranged at 12).

Her husband was also Tibetan, but like most in modern times, grew up in Nepal.

He teased her because even in California, she still didn’t like eating anything green. His nickname for her was the Tibetan word for fox.

I had to look this up….

According to the Atlantic….

“Mount Fanjing, or Fanjingshan, is part of the Wuling mountain range in southwestern China’s Guizhou province. Named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site last year, the mountain is home to a conservation area, a nature reserve, and a number of Buddhist temples—it has been considered a sacred site for centuries.

Two of these temples sit atop a lonely spire called the New Golden Summit, or Red Clouds Golden Summit, which rises more than 330 feet (100 meters) above the surrounding mountaintop. The Temple of the Buddha and Maitreya Temple are separated by a narrow gorge that visitors can cross via a short bridge.”

According to other sites, the image in the background of the above view is probably Mount Fuji, thousands of miles away in Japan, photoshopped into the picture.

Here’s another view….

I’m seeing some other anomalies in the first picture. In this one, the spire appears to be a hundred meters above the mountaintop. I can see four or five hundred meters of spire in the first picture. The first picture shows a lookout point that would be located about the edge of the clouds in the lower left of this picture.

I guess the lookout goes with Mt. Fuji and the Chinese spire and ridge-line were added. I blew up the picture and can see where much of the chain fence is missing.

The story behind this picture from the London     DAILY MAIL.     This picture of Maureen Dunlop reappears within the story.

Your very own port-a-potty …. And about as portable.

“No chambers to empty” can’t possibly be true… You must have to empty it when it fills up.

If you don’t have to because it can dissolve absolutely everything, it must have some really dangerous stuff inside, that you don’t even want to sit over…

But I doubt that’s the case.

Maybe it doesn’t smell quite as bad as an outhouse… But I think you’d regret putting it in the hallway.

An article from Friday, June 21, 2013 in      “THE GUARDIAN.”      There’s a short video there showing parts of the evacuation during the flood that did this.

A scene from yet another Sam Basset mystery!

Are we going to get to see that again too?

Gotta love the great personal sacrifice borne by Nighthawks, in coloring that purply 💜 eye shadow.

Meanwhile… make like a detective, and find nine differences.

Then you can check your solution …

What for me would be the ninth difference is still not detectable, even though marked above.

A few of them

are…
size or length changes that are pretty subtle, but they’re changes.

Sometimes my markings make them less obvious, but point out the locations. So if you look at those places on the original, you’ll see that they’re different.

The hardest for me to see was the curtain length.
