I see a light coming in the distance – I think she’s waiting to meet someone. I know I wouldn’t be standing out there in weather like that unless my heart was involved, overriding my brain.
That works!
So does, Atmosphere People.
I read an article buy a guy in Hollywood who would join call-ups for people that were just going to be in the background.
Putting aside all the “painted into a corner” humor, I can relate to how it looks like she’s feeling. The artist seems to have put some real human angst into her,
A melanistic (ie black) serval.
According to my search, melanism is a very rare trait in servals, which are usually golden tan with black spots.
Black ones are so seldom seen in the wild that people used to think they were a myth, or magical.
Also they’re nocturnal, so a daytime photo of one is even more rare.
Then again, I saw a bunch of other photos of them while searching this one, so there must be a few.
Good video, reminded me a lot of how the Land Rover came about, designed to fill a niche, and later became mainstream. ‘Mogs have always been the standard the other off-road trucks have aimed for. We had some at work, mainly fitted with an insulated two bucket hoist and wide tyres for ‘Hot Glove’ Live Line work.
A joke you have to read to truly enjoy (kind of mature content)
Two sorority sisters were discussing what they were going to do on Spring Break. One woman said, “I plan to go to Monaco and see the Gran Prix.”
The other one replied, “I’m afraid you might be disappointed. First of all, that’s not how it’s pronounced.”
As an amateur photographer I used to take photos of just the sky when I saw a great looking arrangement of color and clouds. Then, when I had a photo of something with a lousy sky, I could just substitute one from my collection.

Meeting somebody, anticipating a trip, or dejectedly leaving this place?
Feels gloomy. Leaving or (no luggage) watching someone leave.

Newtonian fluid?
Don’t stop moving, or you’ll sink!
Um… I think you might mean Non-Newtonian.
Like quicksand and silly putty.
“Regular” liquid is Newtonian, cos it follows Newton’s laws.
But whatever the he|| kind of liquid (or not) that stuff is, it doesn’t look safe to be walking on it!
Yer right! I remember now. Firs time i saw that kind of thing was on Mythbusters.

Kind of funny, kind of… not.

Looks like she has her priorities straight. Trying to avoid that “wet dog smell”.
And the dog is contemplating whether that brown puffy thing is edible.
“Hmmm… no smell…. but it looks like a meatball…. “
just noticed that.
what IS that?
A pom pom? Kinda weird place for one though. But then again, so is the hat.
I’m thinking maybe some sort of crocheted rose, with too many petals, that came out too bulky.
But if so, why would somebody make a brown flower?
Cabbage rose! Maybe, at one time, it was pink?

And yes, that colour sky is something we’re very used to over here….
People talk about ‘Blue Skies’, but that’s ridiculous! The sky is never that colour!! Grey, or rain, that’s the two choices you get!
We get beautifully blue skies here… but not as blue as that over-saturated blue on old Kodachrome postcards.
When I was in Guatemala, years ago, the sky was so blue there, it made postcards look dull.
It was amazing to look at postcard racks, and think “Gee, they don’t have one that captures that sky.”
As an amateur photographer I used to take photos of just the sky when I saw a great looking arrangement of color and clouds. Then, when I had a photo of something with a lousy sky, I could just substitute one from my collection.

Interesting fact. The Harasses hawk is the only raptor that hunts in groups.
Don’t invite him into your group!
Not unless you want him to thin it out.
