The Wonder dog! 🙂

He managed to catch ‘Licky End’, and only pregnant sheep get that 😉

You can see why actors say it isn’t easy, doing those scenes.

You have to act like you’re totally in the top picture, in this case, aware of the woods, the giant, probably dank and musty smelling mushrooms, and your oversized companions…

While all you really see and feel is what’s in the 2nd picture.

Thank Dog they have monitors for a little help.
And of course a lot of staff.

Monitors. Not minotaurs

You don’t want to know what those stalactites consist of…

We had them here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poccistraße_station

I think the little boy is expecting to see the same thing I’m expecting….

Considering the artwork on the wall.

We think a caveman is going to show up on the platform, to board one of the powerful monsters, and be carried to a distant settlement.

He doesn’t know how these strange people have managed to tame the monsters ….

But he has figured out that they won’t eat him, and they’ll take him to visit his sister and come home again.

I’m so glad the invisible man has been able to find employment!

I know he’s gone on a lot of interviews, but the hiring manager will eventually say something like “I just can’t see you in this position” , or “it’s hard to picture you fitting in here”.

You can see for yourself that he’s a hard worker….

Or maybe you can’t.

I identified 2, 3, 4. 5, 6, 7 (it is not a stylized propeller, by the way, THE COMPANY IS THE SOURCE ), 10, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, and 25 (I should have known 11, but my mind went blank).

The answers.

I got them all, unless I have anything wrong.

But I think the only reason I got # 24 is that it was in a quiz like this we had here not long ago…

They wiped out all the lettering then, too, and I remember that I didn’t recognize it that time.

Maybe a dik-dik. It’s tiny, it will barely replenish the energy exerted in the chase.

“Don’t forget the butter.”, it had never occurred to me to add butter to the mix. It is now a permanent part of my “Cream of Wheat”. Thanks, happy³.
Please note, people, butter is spelled b-u-t-t-e-r and not m-a-r-g-a-r-i-n-e (yeeeecchhhh! !).

Indiana Bones!!

Indiana Bones!!

It’s “Raiders of the Lost Kibble”!

Yay!!!

Those of you who’ve never seen it are in for a treat!

Actually, so are those of us who have seen it.
I’m ready to see it again.

I’d better pop a big batch of kibblecorn!

Today’s Songs:
1. ‘Juke Box Hero,’ 2. ‘Jump,’ 3. ‘Just Like Paradise,’ and 4. ‘Kung Fu Fighting,’ and the ‘Cheap Thrills Cuisine’ recipe 5. ‘Chunky Tuna Confetti Salad (low carb)’
1. I’ve put a link to the lyrics below. This is another one of a myriad songs whose lyrics I never really listened to. The story is there.
2. David Lee Roth credits the band’s roadie, Larry Hostler, as ‘probably the most responsible for how it came out.’ (the story is in the Wikipedia link below).
3. Did you know that David Lee Roth started rock climbing when he was in the Boy Scouts at age 11? I didn’t (that’s him in the video at ‘Half Dome’ in Yosemite National Park / filmed by David Breashears).
4. ‘Foo fighter’, a WW II term used by allied fighters in both Europe and Pacific as a designation for U.F.O.s. The only member of the ‘Foo Fighters’ was David Grohl, former drummer of ‘Nirvana’, who played every instrument and did all the vocals on the entire album (talent will out).
5. Celery root (celeriac) can be ordered from my local ‘Wally Worlds’ at $4.34 Can./kg. + whatever ridiculous ‘shipping and handling’ charges apply (I’m curious enough to go looking, so more on this tomorrow).

Celeriac is a staple here in Germany. And Italy, France,…
Basic ingredient for soups, sauces,…
Celery has its seasons (warmer ones), celeriac is a typical winter vegetable because it’s storable for a long time along with carrots etc.
