Roof first struck me of being a bit off. Where I live we have many thatched cottages, and that thatch looks wrong, especially the right hand rear gable edge. Plus, the upstairs room on the right must be less than six feet deep with the placement of that chimney stack, and on that note, what’s with two stacks in a cottage that would generally only have a hearth in the main living room?
From what I’ve read, your skepticism is shared with climate scientists, who consider the idea impossible when compared to ecodata of the period.
Other scientists think both bridges may have come and gone, or that migration went both ways.
…
Some native scholars reject ALL immigration theories, many believing that the Americas were first populated 125,000 or more years ago…
which is well over the 15,000 -20,000 years since either supposed bridge.
As I recall, the European immigration theory was due to generic material found in a child buried thousands of years ago in New England. It made the news at the time.

Too bad we can’t go back and do some real-time generic testing. Without that, or something else better than carbon dating and other present day testing methods, it may all remain speculation.
BTW I do think “illegal” was used facetiously, to conform to modern thoughts on immigration, not because there were laws.
There was no body of law to protect the inhabitants at the time.
I understand your ”reference”, happy³, but I believe it is just, simply, the abbreviation dots that just happen to look like they surround the singular letter I .
But I understand what you are getting at… I saw it tooooooo….

Look! there’s Grumpy and Dopey waving to us!
That soft sand surface would kill me.
What sort of little pointy feet… or hooves?… have been using that path?
Unicorns?

Ummm…
I think the dog is having the same thought.
you’ve got naughty thoughts
“The things i’ll do for a Milk Bone…”
or was it six?
I used to.

Help Max Escher find his way home?
If you live here, never go out drinking.
find six cats
I found four right away. Is one of them pregnant?
LOL…
I think I see five….
Two very obvious, but not till you notice them… The third would be obvious, too, but it’s kinda cut off maybe?
Two harder to see… and one I can’t.
I don’t think those are spoilers, cos they give no location info….
If anybody thinks they are, I’m sorry.
I found five.
I have 3 for sure and a maybe on #4.
The sixth one is cropped some. I think I see some artifacts that suggest Photoshop
Kinda hard to see where the cats end and the pareidolia begins, isn’t it? (Five, I think…)
,,
this model reminded me of ‘The Great Gatsby’
.
Who says shar peis get all the folds?
Some say they were immigrants too, you know!
From the “Far East”, which is actually to the West… long before the next wave, from the East… which is..um… Western Europe.
(Round planets are confusing.)
…
Anyway, a lot of Native cultures reject the “land bridge” historical references, because they conflict with their own origination stories.
Which, BTW, researchers have mostly learned to stop calling origination myths.
They have to stop short of calling them factual though, because many other cultures also have origination stories…
many of which we label “religion”, and we can’t teach it all as fact.
Some genetic studies suggest immigration from Europe across an Ice bridge. I’m sceptical for logistical reasons.
By the way, not “Illegal”, because no laws were broken.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen her called “Connie.”
A big favorite of my mother’s.
Okay, here’s a bit of speculation. Do you think the name “Lipps, Inc.” is really a cute way of saying “lip sync”?
Yes, I think that’s what it actually meant.
But AFAIK, the women in this video aren’t even the actual singers, cos the group members that I recall are all Black.
Happy Canada Day!
Cool!
To you, as well.
P what ?!
Um… Investigator.
Or am I missing something?

Oh… I see now. Thanks baconboy!
P .I. … instead of P. I.
A misplaced dot.
Yay!
The Maltese Basset!
I love this one!
The super cool Sam Basset, who would never see himself that way…
The gorgeous dame .. but mysterious, and probably dangerous. Especially with a name like Miss Behave.
(And BTW, Sam… I sure hope it’s not the other way around… and that she can’t make your heart water.)
And more to come!
Did I already say “yay!”?
Love this arc. 🙂
yes! you did say ‘yay’ but all yays are welcome, there’s more than enough
room for yays
.
It’s OPUS!!!
FUNKEYTOWN!!!!! Love it.
Ooooops. FUNKYTOWN!
close enough for government work (stel’s favorite line)
