This painting, the one above, with the red striped shirt, and the completely dissimilar one yesterday with the donkeys in the doorway, are all credited to Tracy Porter.
So I went to her website, which is called The Porter Collection.
It turns out that she and her husband are a team selling prints and merchandise featuring her work.
In response to a customer’s question about buying an original painting, they replied that all her works are digital... there are no paintings.
She allegedly combines computer drawing, photography, and AI to create them.
There are several stretches of highway in California with those signs… Not that this one is necessarily in California, but our signs are green like that.
You’d think not picking up hitchhikers near a prison would be a no-brainer…
But there are not that many signs for the prisons.
You’re pretty sure you’ll be passing one soon because you’ve already been warned for 20 miles about hitchhikers.
This looks like a great place to fall off a cliff.
“In sight of Broadway”… with powerful binoculars, I presume.
Ten cents! And I’m told Disneyland is now over $100.
But this one closed in 1971…
And you gotta love this explanation from Wikipedia:
“Three factors contributed to the eventual closing of Palisades Amusement Park: inadequate parking facilities; growing uncertainty about the park’s future; and an increase in the number of incidents where visitors got injured or killed.”
1 In days of yore, from Britain’s shore,
Wolfe the dauntless hero came,
And planted firm Britannia’s flag,
On Canada’s fair domain.
Here may it wave, our boast, our pride,
And joined in love together!
The Thistle, Shamrock, Rose, entwine,
The Maple Leaf for ever!
Chorus:
The Maple Leaf, our emblem dear,
The Maple Leaf forever!
God save the King, and Heaven bless
The Maple Leaf for ever!
2 At Queenstown Heights and Lundy’s Lane,
Our brave fathers, side by side,
For freedom, homes, and loved ones dear,
Firmly stood and nobly died;
And those dear rights which they maintained,
We swear to yield them never!
Our watchword ever more shall be,
The Maple Leaf for ever! [Chorus]
3 Our fair Dominion now extends
From Cape Race to Nootka Sound;
May peace for ever be our lot,
And plenteous store abound;
And may those ties of love be ours
Which discord cannot sever,
And flourish green o’er Freedom’s home,
The Maple Leaf for ever! [Chorus]
4 On merry England’s far-famed land
May kind Heaven sweetly smile;
God bless old Scotland ever more,
And Ireland’s Em’rald Isle!
Then swell the song, both loud and long,
Till rocks and forest quiver,
God save our King and Heaven bless
The Maple Leaf for ever! [Chorus]

I ad one of my vertigo attacks today.
Nott a bad one, but i had to self rescue.
By the time i got home i was bad enough.
I slept for a long nap and feel better.

Jabba Jr.
I saw a short video about a bulldog that looked amazingly like this seal.
,
Almost…. (2 outta 3 ain’t bad).
Dean and Jerry (Martin and Lewis) and Bob (Hope… I’m assuming that’s who you meant, though I’ve never heard him called Bobby.)
Does look like the other one from that angle, I thought it was him but makes more sense to be the one you said.
You surprise me! I was sure of the two, not positive about the guy in the middle…
I still believe it’s not the one bing says.
He looks not at all like him to me, but like the other guy.
The other man you guys are saying this might be, (below) IMHO, was one of the best looking men who ever lived.
The no way the man above is him…. though he was said to be good looking as well.
Compare:
This is the duo…
Comparing to the photo above it’s rather the former than Dino.
Look at the ears!

Did she let you take a drag to see if it made you sick? (Mine did…*)
(* After two cigarettes and a cigar, they gave up…)

Who filled the gravy boat with corn syrup?
Oooohh. Looks like a butterscotch sundae.
Both illusions enhanced by the ornate patterns of the “pottery” dishes… hand crafted by Mother Nature.
…
Naps are bliss. They really are.

Sigh…..
“How to train your dragon…”
I keep thinking that it might be a stink bird chick.
I’m probably wrong.
Stink bird? I know Sh** Hawks, but not Stink Birds…
He thought he’d entered a stairing contest…

A LINK to what “EF 3” means.
Thanks anyway, but I’ll pass.
Too late for Richard Boone (Paladin).
I couldn’t blow it up last night to read the captions…

You would think the yellow sign was superfluous.

I never do anyway.
That’s nice, but – I’ll pass anyway.

Got it.
Me too.
Me 3.

They always had “Free Admission” tickets inside my comic books, and I was on the wrong side of the continent to use them!
And the east coast comics had free admission tickets to Disneyland.
It wouldn’t surprise me!

Yup… that last one’ll do it for me.

They still play it on the parade ground. The original lyrics have sorta been forgotten, though…
