Clicking on his avatar below, will take you to baconboycamper’s really simple method (he runs a Mac / I run a PC) of seeing all nine (at the time of posting) likes of nighthawks’ comment.

This is just an FYI for anyone who has a Windows touch screen and didn’t think to just move the slider with a finger (like me!)….it works! I just did it on my screen and it showed all 12 (at the time of posting)!
Yes… I didn’t think about the Windows touch screen at the time, but I posted back then that it works fine on Android phones and tablets with touch screens, too.
Since then I’ve tried the Windows touch screen and also heard that it works on iPad, so presumably iPhones too.
…
If you’re stuck with a mouse, left clicking the number of likes (next to the “thumbs up” hand) and immediately dragging it to the slider bar works, but only maybe once in 5 tries.
It only takes a second per try, so I just do it till it does work… I’ve never figured out what makes it happen.or not.
…
You’ll know it’s right when the list stays visible and the number image is shown dragging, instead of the list disappearing and other things being highlighted.
Let it go only right over the slider bar … Then you can scroll up and down.
My review of “Black Widow” Plot: slightly more coherent than a Mad Max movie (but not by much) Scene to scene continuity: see Plot Acting: Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova actually carried her part well, the rest of the cast were basically reciting lines Pseudo science: putting your brain on hold to accept it isn’t a stretch (but your brain will have to be put on hold) Fight scenes: the coyote wouldn’t survive most of them (but they will be fun to watch) One liners: as good or better than any Arnie movie Destruction of the villian’s headquarters (come on, you know it’s coming from the opening scene): think James Bond Morality: Good wins (and you’ll actually care that Good wins)
Overall, if you have 2 hours and 4 minutes (plus credits to 14) and want some light entertainment, this is good; but only at regular price, not premium. If it’s in your local theatre, go to see it there if you’re comfortable, because people laughing together at the ridiculousness of some of it will increase your fun.
Part two:
For the purposes of this comment, whole milk in Helena, Montana is 95¢ Canadian per litre.
I pay $2.47 at the “Real Canadian Wholesale Club,” and don’t get me started on what Safeway/Sobeys charge.
A pound of sharp cheddar cheese in Helena costs $5.12 Canadian. I’ll be paying, on sale, $5.27 a pound for old cheddar; regular price $7.55.
Just a comparison because I felt like it.
I knew it was well written, I just didn’t know until today how well written.

Makes me wonder how much of the lyrics would make sense to today’s generation, or even Gen-X? I think even Millennials wouldn’t know half of it…
Sad, in a way, there is a lot history going on in that song…
I lived through all of that.
it was impressive showing the absence of gravity in a most realistic manner…as opposed to movies like 1950’s ‘Destination: Moon” that tried to show it but suspending folks from
wires isn’t the way. But their crude effort was state of the art at the time.
Well, gee…..I thought it was a bassoonka, not an obozooka! (the two are commonly confused, and, in fact, I’m commonly confused, as well! It all depends on where the mouthpiece is!…..on the instrument, that is!)
And, like the obozooka, the bassoonka is also “not for everyone!”
But, of course!!! We’ll concentrate on musical instruments during the first half of the refresher week (Guest Lecturer will be Professor Rotty Tailwagger, presenting his latest article, The Science Behind The Slide Trombone,) The second half of the refresher week will focus on Spotting Spelling Errors. If we have time, we’ll throw in Musical instrument Image Searching Made Easy The BING Way!
[BTW, I AM right….no “probably” about it! After all, I DID play the clarinet/blow gun! (The poor 2nd cousin of the obozooka and the bassoonka!) Ahh….the good ol’ days in Musical Ordnance Canine University Marching and Guerilla Band….I was an exchange student.]
[just teasing you, of course…..I can’t seem to move my tongue which is firmly planted in my cheek. I just KNOW that you’ll make me pay for this!]
I tried to post a hilarious comeback to SS early this morning about bazookas, Bob Burns (inventor of the bazooka), WWI and Van Buren, Arkansas (home of Bob Burns AND Rotty Tailwagger), but got a meassage that said, “Awaiting Moderator Approval” or some such BS then the cat pooped and I had to clean out his litter box and then my hilarious comeback disappeared altogether and then I got distracted again and here we are 12 hours later.
It disappears momentarily and reappears magically, still awaiting approval.
Happened to me several times whenever I tried to post too many pictures/videos in one comment.
Splitting (veeery patiently) and deleting the original helped.
You piqued my interest with your cake review, so I did a side-by-side to be able to follow along (I really should be working on a poster for Tuesday right now. I’m stalling.).
It’s a good thing there’s no wheels on that stool. I know a bazooka’s supposed to be recoilless, but there’s got to be some back pressure.

Plot: slightly more coherent than a Mad Max movie (but not by much)
Scene to scene continuity: see Plot
Acting: Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova actually carried her part well, the rest of the cast were basically reciting lines
Pseudo science: putting your brain on hold to accept it isn’t a stretch (but your brain will have to be put on hold)
Fight scenes: the coyote wouldn’t survive most of them (but they will be fun to watch)
One liners: as good or better than any Arnie movie
Destruction of the villian’s headquarters (come on, you know it’s coming from the opening scene): think James Bond
Morality: Good wins (and you’ll actually care that Good wins)

Sad, in a way, there is a lot history going on in that song…
I lived through all of that.
I posted that Bazooka video too soon.
doesn’t mean you can’t post it again, old top
I liked the Martian movie. It did good “movie things” as it should. But the book was better if you’re into technical stuff. Can’t help myself.
it was impressive showing the absence of gravity in a most realistic manner…as opposed to movies like 1950’s ‘Destination: Moon” that tried to show it but suspending folks from
wires isn’t the way. But their crude effort was state of the art at the time.

..
….
Not shown is panel nine. To wit:
EVEN MORE THUNDEROUS APPLAUSE
I have wondered… does that simply mean another round of thunderous applause, or that there’s more of it the second time…
or that the second round is even more thunderous?
All of the above! And it’s for the bazooka. She probably just picked up the wrong case on her way out the door.
I was going to ask if the audience was still applauding. Thanks ~ for the rest of the story.
“…when in doubt, C-4.” J. Heinemann
The obozooka is not for everyone… but it’s enjoyed by aficionados of hot jazz.
“obozooka” ~ I love that!!
Le Jazz Hot!
I did debate which it was, but it was late and I couldn’t find good pictures…
Meanwhile I had it in my mind that in the comic, Cleo was blowing directly into the end, so I thought it was an obozooka.
But she’s not…. and i already knew the bassoonka had a long mouthpiece… so I think you’re probably right.
…
I’m just not terribly knowledgeable about musical instruments… or weapons, earth moving machinery, or sci fi.
I’m usually a good student, but I’m not getting very good grades in Cleo101…
Luckily I passed the midterm on the strength of knowing about puns, 60’s music, and old movies.
….
I may have to take a refresher course before I start Cleo201 next semester.
Will you help me with the flash cards?
But, of course!!! Well, thanks for giving us the real poop…
I’m glad you didn’t post any of it.

Btw I don’t know what causes that moderation response…
I’ve gotten it a couple of times, and thought the comment never showed up…
So I reposted the same thing, and it was fine.
But at least once, I went back to the same page weeks later, and the original had eventually posted as well.
Go figure.
Moderators were really slow???
And now, I’m left wondering about that hilarious comeback….
If only we could turn back time! Cher? Cher? Bueller?

A particularly good Cleo! I love the bassetoon/bassetooka.
A belated, but heart-felt HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Montana Lady. I was at an airshow yesterday and missed the party.
Oh. Lucky you! They keep cancelling the good ones.
Thanks, P51! I saved you a piece of the mountain cake.
Disguised bazooka. I like it.
Good morning, Cleophans!
Quick hit – Need to help pick up after the Florida littles and …
wish HAPS belated BIRFDAY, Montana Lady from me and Turd
(((((HUGZ!!!!)))))
let me add a cake of the purple persuasion
Oh Nighthawks! You shouldn’t have. Now all day you’ll get those purp- – – jokes, and then you’ll scream……….
Love the cake, though! Ya’ll come by for more desert!
Can’t have too much dessert.
That’s my mantra!! LOL
Sorry, nighthawks, couldn’t help myself, first thing that came to my (purplish bent) mind…
Thanks for posting Crystal Blue Persuasion!! Always a favorite!
Oooo…..Purplie Cake….my favorite!!
Kinda looks like a hat box. For a ladies hat, naturally. Maybe one that would be worn at the Kentucky Derby.
Wow!!! What a neat cake!
Thanks, Plods!
Cool Montana cake, Plods!
I kept looking at the Montana seal in the middle, wondering what the brown thing is…
Campfire? Shopping cart? Wheelchair?
And no, I didn’t mean I thought it might be a sea lion!
…
Finally had to go look at the real image… which I make out to be THREE things, overlayed…. a simple plow, a shovel and a pick.
As rendered in frosting.
Not that bad, considering the difficulty level.
Just for that part…
Difficulty: 9
Execution: 5
…..
Flag overall…
Difficulty: 7.5
Execution: well, ok, 7
You piqued my interest with your cake review, so I did a side-by-side to be able to follow along (I really should be working on a poster for Tuesday right now. I’m stalling.).
There’s Madame Cleo in her sensible shoes again.
Hey, ML!! Glad to see that it’s a whole WEEKEND PARTY!!! I hired an extra bartender to help with the overflow!
Cheers, my Darlings! Party on!
modeled after what the nuns wore on their feet some sixty years ago
And to think in the 2nd grade I wanted to be a nun!!!
just think of the cool shoes you could have had
I have a new goal before retiring… to save enough money to ride on Virgin Galactic’s Spaceship 2
