I tried to see it as a hand against a canvas but could only see the hand as resting on the floor (as it the picture was a 3D object). Then I realized, the artist drew the hand as if illuminated from the window. Very cleverly done.
The odd thing about seeing this picture, to me, is that I knew that all during the 70s John was married to Yoko Ono, and barely acknowledging Julian, who was a small child when John left his mother, Cynthia.
So I finally just looked up some dates in Julian’s life, and discovered that 1974 was when John and Yoko were apart , and John was living with their assistant, May Pang.
It was May who instigated a trip to the US by Cynthia and Julian, so they could all talk and work some things out, and John could see his son.
This was apparently during that trip.
After Yoko came back, John left May, and once again didn’t see Julian for a long time.
Got nine on the first look through, on the double check to confirm the nine I had found, I found the tenth. This is quite rare for me to find them all, and this quickly 🙂
I missed the window sash. I counted one that is undoubtedly unintentional. There is a tiny orange line on the sidewalk between Clara and the drain. Hey, 10 is 10 ☺
10 is 10, true. As I’ve said, your score is up to you, and only you know whether you’re satisfied with it.
But if you’re going for the official 10, just remember that anything you recognize as a tiny error is never an official difference, because the puzzles are made intentionally.
That precludes the inclusion of unintentional or accidental differences, no matter their size… though occasionally Nighthawks later acknowledges a large or glaring mistake.

Interesting colors…
They look like a cross between German shepherds and something else…
Something not necessarily canine.

I think I need to go lie down. (And maybe smoke something?)
Apparently yes.
Are you suggesting I get an updated aviation medical and climb back in the cockpit? … tempting…
Wow… Even though I can usually see what it says, it took quite a while to get it the first time, and the text still comes and goes.
Same here.
It started to jump out immediately, then disappeared as soon as I tried to read it. I eventually stabilized it long enough to read.

That is cool.
That’s really putting yourself into your work.
You could even put yourself into somebody else’s work this way.

I think the hand is a photograph.
Fingertips artfully smudged, lighting arranged from above and behind to create the shadow of the thumb.

“Hey, Jules…!”

Probably taken from “Cat Fancy” magazine.
Looks like Peekaboo from “Rose is Rose” by Don Wimmer and Pat Brady to me.
S and Z do look rather like Peekaboo to me!
The others maybe not so much.
All together, I see an alphabet.
But I doubt words written with it would be legible.
Individually, some look like letters; others are only recognizable by their positions in the lineup.

I don’t give much hope for any of ’em!
If “E” survives, arrest him.
E dies in the electric chair whether any of the others die or not.
I’m afraid I don’t see any… Does that mean I’m a goner?
😥 😪
Ten!
Is everybody ready for a solution?
Maybe not to all the problems in the world….
But isn’t it nice that there are some things that can be so simply solved?
If you want to see one… Just try to find all 10 differences in today’s puzzle….
And compare your findings with mine….
! eat
Don’t push any other buttons on the way!
Yes!

Yay!
Woo Hoo!
I got nine. Last night when i quit i thought it was eight.
I got 10
That IS tiny.

Good idea! I have been struggling to figure out what i want to eat for dinner lately. That actually sounds nostalgic.
As long as it’s not the kind with the yucky “built-in” ones, like Beanie-Weenies.
The only thing nostalgic about those is remembering how awful I thought they were, even then!
VanCamp’s and BarS chicken franks. 🙂
