Good job! to the guy who rescued that pup!

I think he’s the same guy we saw rescue another dog, in a different clip…

I remember the dog pack and the woods.

If so, he’s a foster “parent”, not an adopter, of all these dogs.

Makes you wonder how their lives turn out later.

Watching one of her own movies reminds Cleo that she’s a ⭐ Movie Star ⭐ …

And suddenly she’s in prima donna mode again.

Actually, though, she was in prima donna mode this morning at breakfast…. and yesterday, at the grocery store….

and last night, watching TV….

I guess a diva is a diva.

And maybe you have to be kinda careful if you “own” (hah!) a diva with a bazooka.

….

Meanwhile… It must be really a pain sometimes, being a toon, and having speech balloons pop up at inconvenient times…

you’d better hope no one asks you a question just as you’re walking through a doorway.

Blocking someone’s view is rude, but unless it’s some huge bully or armed thug, probably not life-threatening.

But what if you mindlessly start humming while you’re driving over a narrow bridge, or…. or… um… I’m sure there are lots of times it could be dangerous.

Like… hiding from gunfire… a sneeze advertises your position!

with all those explosions, you can tell Monty Python is Cleo’s favorite! (and mine, too)

You have quite an imagination! I was with two of my grandsons yesterday and I wish they had word balloons. They like to mumble and talk softly. I’d tell them to speak up and they would for a couple of words and them back to mumbling. And, no, it’s not my hearing ~ which is very good. My husband was right there with me. They seem to hear each other, though.

I think that’s common with young siblings who are close in age…

They’re used to having each other nearby, and develop almost a code to communicate.

They don’t always get that we can’t hear or understand… and for some, it’s stressful to try.

Why bother, when your brother is there.

With twins, it’s well documented…

Sometimes they even have their own brief language by the time they learn ours.

….

When I worked in a daycare, while still in college, we had a difficult set of twins, who we finally figured out came from a neglectful background…

Not cruel, but young parents, both in grad school AND working, with no time for reading or playing with 4 year olds.

Their shared language … some of it non-verbal… was so strong they hardly tried to communicate with staff or other kids.

When they did, they spoke like toddlers… and they sometimes hit instead of talking.

….

They were put into separate rooms, even though that meant one was with the three-year-olds, just to learn to talk to others, and socialize.

I don’t know whether that would be done today… But it worked, somewhat.

Then their grandmother came to live with them… within weeks they caught up verbally and socially with their age group…plus their hair was combed and their socks matched.

They seemed proud and happy.
It made me happy too.

Cleo is, as I understand it, negotiating to fly this plane in her next picture.

Another bit of pure fun from “The Heimatdamisch”
The lady’s full name is Conny Kreitmeier. If you missed yesterday’s postings by myself and StelBel, it’s worth the time to go back.
Tigressy was lucky enough to see them live, and provided their YouTube channel.

Sure, I finally get all nine and I’m a day late and a dollar short. Great weekend, starting with Tommy James and the Shondells live Friday night.

The music was non-stop fun. His voice is incredible. If you even only kinda-like any of their songs, you should hear them live. The power and energy blow away the records.

Saturday I marched in a Pride Parade for the first time… what a blast. All joy, colors, and positivity.
