Animal was such a terrific character. Of course he had to be the drummer in the band, and of course the drummer in the band had to be him. He made such a great foil for so many of the guest stars on the Muppet Show, especially the drummers. His duel with Buddy Rich was priceless.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Montana Lady, even if it’s a few days late. My wife just hit 70 (yeah, I must be a cradle robber), and we just hit 49 years of her putting up with me, so we really enjoy each party. Getting there can be an adventure, though!
I wish I could find some poppy seed cake! There is road work and no parking in front of our Polish deli. They do have crustchike (sp?) at Christmas every year, at least.
