How can anyone dislike a black cat.
Just look at how dignified she/he looks. 🙂

This isn’t the first time I’ve run into this while searching for information.
Apparently this type of cat is called a Bombay Black.
The breed was developed by Nikki Horner ofLouisville, Kentucky, in 1965.

I went to my bookshelf and picked out my copy of Aesop’s Fables.
There are probably a myriad more that Pete Beard couldn’t include in such a short video, and while Glen Rounds does have a Wikipedia article, on a short perusal, there is no mention of his work with the J.B. Lippincott Company of Philadelphia, illustrating the translations of Thomas James and George Tyler Townsend.
I’ve always thought that Glen Rounds used chalk as his medium for his drawings; they have looked that way to me since I got the book as a present in April 1961.
There is no date of significance in April in my life, so it must have been an un-birthday present. My mother wrote my name in it and the month and year.
Arthur Rackham illustrated my copy of “The Wind in the Willows.”
Now I have to go read some fables.

Upon reflection, it is crystal clear to me that Nighthawks is gonna be the one in prism,
when the pun police catch up with him!

He thinks he knows all the angles

But he’s so transparent…

even trying to put his words into the mouth of a poor, helpless cartoon basset hound… (well, helpless except for possessing a few bazookas, tanks, guns, and maybe a missile or two…)

but we can see right through him, now that he has shown his true colors.

Sorry, Nighthawks, but them’s the breaks.

@StelBel.. (or for that matter, anyone interested):

Yesterday afternoon, my time, which was perhaps a bit late for other places,
I left replies to several of your comments or replies about Salami

About the dancer, herself, and her name, that 8-minute video, and, yes, about the tendency of her costumes to be… a bit unstable.

I don’t know whether anybody saw them, so i thought I’d mention it here.

I’m very glad if you enjoyed my original review.

I didn’t know there was a shortage until you drew our attention to it. Here is a link to a     CANADIAN BROADCASTING CORPORATION     article on it.

I take offence at that.
I was a Fuller Brush Man in my high school days. I and my coworkers were

nothing

like the majority of used car salesmen; or a measurable number of new car salesmen either.
Before anyone says I’m guilty of stereotyping myself, I used to have to deal with used car salesmen. There wasn’t a one of them I’d trust to return my wallet.
