If Salvador Dali owned a golf course.

It’s called “The Persistence of Golfers.”

That’s not Olive Oyl!

That’s what I was thinking!

Actually one of the things that made the cartoons funny was that Popeye and Bluto were fighting over tall, skinny, shapeless Olive Oyl, and ignoring any conventional beauties.

Olive was the femme fatale of the stories, played totally straight, with never a hint of satire or mockery.

No. 7 is in a bit of a pickle. Not to mention foreground guy, who’s about to be run over.

RIP Tony Bennet. He enjoyed performing to the very end, even as much of his mind was gone. His wife Susan and son Danny took good care of him off the stage. Lady Gaga was there with him in the last few years to keep delighting audiences.

I guess it could be seen as a bit macabre, standing up this half empty man to perform with the part of his mind that was still 100%. But it obviously brought him joy.

Hi Cleo Pals, and all my Puzzle Peeps.

I’m posting the solution now, even though nobody has commented yet about trying to solve the puzzle, cos I have to leave for a bit.

I’d better not find out anybody was peeking into my locked spoiler box while I was gone, before they tried to find the differences.

Cleo is off duty… She’s not in today’s puzzle.

I guess I’ll set some guards. They’ll know if you cheat.

So do your best… Try to find all ten….

Then you can look inside here! But beware

They’ll let you pass if you’ve tried hard!

Yay! I was at my usual nine, or X-1 where X is the number of differences. Then there it was! Also as usual, it was a matter of overlooking the forest for the trees.

Good effort by Linda with this version of Willin. Hard to beat the original, though.

I believe that was the rodent confronted by King Arthur and his KoRT in Monty Python & the Holy Grail. They had to use the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch to dispatch the bunny. But it wasn’t 2,000 feet tall. “It’s just a little bunny. One rabbit stew, comin’ up.”

How James Bond got his name.

https://www.abebooks.com/servlet/BookDetailsPL?bi=31527962241&cm_sp=SEARCHREC-_-WIDGET-L-_-BDP-F&searchurl=xpod%3Doff%26bi%3D0%26ds%3D30%26bx%3Doff%26sortby%3D17%26tn%3Dbirds%26an%3Dbond%252C%2Bjames%26recentlyadded%3Dall

Got a copy at the book shop where I’m the vintage/collectible pricer. Back then it was merely $900 on Abe. Charged $50 and got it.

Previous most expensive offering was a first edition, first estate Mark Twain. Unfortunately, rebound poorly so instead of $2-3K it was only worth $200-300. Asked $100 and it sold the next day. Although the buyer tried to dicker with me. He wanted it as a Christmas gift for his son, this was around Thanksgiving. Told him if it was still in the shop just before Christmas, I’d consider lowering the price, but not after only 24 hours. He left and came back 45 minutes later. Wife had ordered him to march right back and buy it as it was a fundraiser for the library. Made my day!
