Well, how else would we little kids know it was a diamond?

I was shocked when I discovered that they didn’t look like that when they were studding the walls of the diamond mine, ready to be plucked off and put into rings.

Much as I loved Christopher Reeve in the role, and super-handsome as he was, the face of

this man
George Reeve
will always be for me, the true face of my childhood
hero….
Superman

Unfortunately, he wasn’t very happy about that 😢

Also not staying in their lane, especially as a double yellow line usually means a blind curve.

Horrifying to imagine being the driver of a semi on that stretch.

I never cared for any Vette until the most recent version. The current Vette is the car I tried to draw as a kid; I love it.
I don’t want one. You can’t see the cool lines from inside and it wastes gasoline.

I don’t really want to drive the ’60 in this picture, either…. But I love it.

It doesn’t really look sleek or fast… and I’m not looking for a that anyway… but there’s something about it.

Maybe I could just keep one for a pet?

The Arch of Trajan, in Timgad, Algeria.

From Instagram (but several sites give the same information in different words):

“The ruins of Timgad lie on the slopes of the Aures Massif, about 35 km east of the town of Batna, in modern-day Algeria. Built nearly 2,000 years ago, by the Roman Emperor Trajan, the city is laid out in great precision and is one of the best surviving examples of the grid plan used by the ancient Roman city planners.”

LOL… Thanks…

And yes, but it’s not even a teeny laptop… It’s an 8″ tablet! Sometimes my phone, half that size. 🦯

If i use two fingers to enlarge things, I can see them fine, though only bit by bit.

I saw that line, I guess, but didn’t realize it was text.

Anyway, at least there’s a bit of further information in my post…. And it doesn’t conflict with the caption. 😁

You do realize that it doesn’t exist?

Another AI “creation”.

Credited to Hassan Ragab, an Egyptian artist currently living in California.

“By integrating Ai into his multidisciplinary practice; Ragab draws from his experience as an architect to create dreamlike images of cities, buildings and interiors, often inspired by cities like his hometown Alexandria.”

About using AI in his art he says:.blah blah blah (my translation.)

It wasn’t “a” treehouse that looked like AI to me… I’ve seen plenty of treehouses.

I even had a friend who lived in one in the 70s, but I never went inside cos the ladder was too scary.

It was the whole artistically balanced cluster of them, none with any visible bracing or platforms for support.

Plus the two stacked precariously on the ground to the left.

We’ve seen too much AI with stacked houses, adobes, even chicken coops, for this to look real… I didn’t think anybody thought it was. 😁
