First, thanks for your locomotive suggestion last Thursday. I won’t be doing it, but we do have a lengthy animation influenced by “Murder on the Orient Express” that we’ll rerun within the next few months, I think.
Second, the reason I won’t be doing your suggestion is that isn’t what I do, and of course, since you are rather new here, how would you know that?
My pictures are posted on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and for the most part, they are parodies of movie posters, mostly starring basset hounds or at least other breeds of dogs. If you wander through past posts, you’ll get the idea. So, I look for movie posters that I can change the titles, cast, and pictures in a humorous way to reflect our love of dogs and animals in general (but, mostly bassets like Cleo). Not all suggestions fit my criteria, not to mention that since I’ve been doing them since 2015, I’ve done so many already.
Yes, I’ve seen that, I do check on the comments on TC. Would you please pass on my thanks, and that I’ll be looking into ways of getting back into the comments. Unfortunately it won’t be with pictures and videos.
reminds me of my experiences in introducing old dogs to a new trick:
going through a doggie door.
most of the time it meant holding the reluctant doggie up to the flap
and gently pushing him/her through. sometimes they pick up right away, sometimes it
took a few times……..

Oh No! The Veggie-Bassetts are horrible creatures! .. But they have such nice ears…
The victim in the basset version seems to be much more aware of her predicament.
The human starlet appears to have fainted…
while carefully arranging her limbs and her costume for the cameras, and thus, her portfolio.
The young bassetlet knows what matters to canine audiences…
She displays her horror of vegetables.
Best opening scene ever
(Once upon a time in the west)
ah, Nancy Sinatra—Dennis’ favorite
Looks like she won!
Nice shiner! But that smile makes me think she has no regrets!
You should see the other guy!

Yet, you never know… I’m always open to ideas!!!
Thanks, again!

MCTS, you still have your fans on Ten Cats asking for your freedom.

We’d ALL appreciate that. Just having YOU back with us in ANY form will be a blessing.
Hello to Ivy.
No worries, if I see an image or something that might work for you I’ll mention it, thanks for the info.
ah yes, our infamous ‘Murder on a train’ thing ….already been run twice, but I wouldn’t rule it out being posted again
The classics never go out of style
I’d be happy to see it again!
We might have to explain the in-joke with the Sherpa creators … Then again, it’s not necessary to the plot.
Just an extra layer of amusement on an already great arc.
This gives me ideas for my next Halloween pumpkin! I never carve them, I decorate them with veggies. I learned that from my Dad, who was a grocer.
He wears a rather rye expression, to say the yeast.
groan!
He had to rise to the occasion. It’s what he was bred to do any way you slice it.
Hey, quit loafin’ and get to Cleo more!
But that made him quite sour, dough.
Boo! Both of you!
Giuseppe Arcimboldo…. portrait of Holy Roman
Emperor Rudolf as the Roman god of the seasons, late 16th century.
There is much discussion of whether Arcimboldo was whimsical or outright crazy.
But I think he was designing protective camouflage after witnessing an early attack of veggie bassets…
But no one would believe him.
Mr. Bunny, to you!
I always liked his glasses.

LOVE this.
“Look! My sister’s a veggie-basset!
Stelbel! Nooooo!
OMG… Please promise me this is fiction!
It looks so real!
…
Vegetable revenge from the skies!
I was always afraid the day would dawn that they’d be coming after Cleveland.
But why Cleveland’s kibble-eating canines?
The catastrophically colossal canine cabbages!
Galloping golabki! Holishke hounds on the hoof!
Behemoth Brussels basset sprouts?
The brain boggles!
I never even fed my dog food made from corn… I hope the cornships wouldn’t be after me!
…
These vicious vegetables are definitely NOT good for your health….
or the health of your precious canine companions.
…
Quick! Cook them!
Cook them before they exact retribution for our centuries of wanton vegetable eating!
Shred them into space slaw!!
Everybody… PLEASE! Protect the puppies!
…
OMD… Is it too late to apologise for that half a bag of …. sob…. frozen baby peas I had with dinner?
Please! I didn’t know any better!
I promise… I’ll set my baby lettuces (letti?) free.
Run, little letti! Flap your leafy little wings and fly free!
Hot Fudge Sundae
Yes! Please!
merry-go-round day!
where’s the music?
Let’s see if I can post a video. I’m using Firefox browser this time, hopefully it won’t add all the extra code like Edge did.

Nope, looks like it did 🙁
But the important part works. Cute.
delightful!

Very stubborn, isn’t it.
what,,,,,,, the door or the puppy!
The video itself.
It’s being stubborn about remaining a link, even though I’ve taken out all the unnecessary bits of the URL.
Maybe Imagur videos just don’t imbed.
….
Actually, luckily, in the video, it’s the mama or papa being stubborn…
Not leaving baby behind.
thanks, susan
thanks–it appeared that way initially, but it changed to the unclickable mess that resulted–I see you ran into the same problems
Didn’t we all.
Anyone else having a problem, I have to log in every time I come to the site, didn’t use to have this problem
Not every time but often. It forgets me too.
Sometimes it remembers me for weeks; other times it won’t remember me at all.
My computer is down, so I access the site by tablet or phone.
When I switch to a different device sometimes it recognizes me because I’m logged in on the other one….
Sometimes it’s apparently never seen me before in its life.
