I hope that it’s not a bull shark.

A bit short for a panoramic view?

I’m thinking that’s the cover of a book or brochure and the promised panorama is inside. I do like the little hand-written notes on it: that provides a little honest touch in our AI world.

Like all good comedy, it’s all in the timing.

I just noticed a problem with that typewriter: someone has banged a handful of keys and jammed them up – note the ribbon. I see that all the time at second-hand stores and just want to choke people. I also recently saw some vintage tower speakers that someone had removed the grill from the front and pushed in the domes on the speakers, possibly ruining the set beyond economical repair. Just wanted to scream.

My guess
51.
Count the number of squares on the side and multiply by three.

51 – unless there’s a couple missing in the middle…

Yes… The “obvious” answer

is…
51… 36 + 12 + 3 = 51

But….
the way it’s drawn, we’re supposed to accept a complete lack of depth perception… We can’t tell from the top or the back that there are empty rows, as long as we can see the cubes behind them.

So how do we know there aren’t a whole bunch scooped out on the “other” side, just leaving complete rows on the bottom, the front, and the visible side?

Hey, he’s waking up all the fishes!

Would you want someone prowling around your neighborhood in the dark with an enormously bright flashlight?

That was a load of words I haven’t heard since I retired…(How many times have you used “Urochordate” in polite conversation?)
