If you’re finding the details of the “Pun Crazy” poster a little difficult to read, don’t forget that on a P(ersonal) C(omputer) “ctrl +” will zoom it up. You can get to quite a large zoom factor without losing clarity; use “ctrl 0” (zero) to return to normal size.
I reread the synopsis, and I’m still not going to go looking for the human version.
Are there enough guitars in this scene? Nice to see all these guys getting along. If Mick had been a Beatle, maybe they would never have left the Blues scene.
The gatefold interior of Queen’s “News of the World” album. The artwork is a modified version (done by the artist, himself) of Frank Kelly Freas’ “Astounding Science Fiction” illustration for “The Gulf Between” by Tom Godwin. SOURCE
If you can find them, I recommend the “The First Wives Club” (1996 / on which the movie is based) and “Insiders” (2002) by the late Olivia Goldsmith.
The “The First Wives Club” book is a fair bit darker than the movie, and “Insiders”, while having some comic elements is not light-hearted either.
Both, however are very well written, and very good reads.
Sadly, and ironically, despite writing within feminist themes, Olivia Goldsmith died while undergoing cosmetic surgery.

Am I to understand this is a brand new poster? It’s awesome. I love everything about it.
I need to see this movie, and I do NOT mean the human copy.
works fine……thanks for posting—just watching a basset puppy walk around investigating his world makes me laugh out loud…..and that’s always a good thing

Love it, Stel! You took it and ran with it.
Unfortunately in the human version, the poster is better than the film.
Well, I for one am really glad we changed the premise… all that brainstorming paid off!
“Gun Crazy” wouldn’t have suited me at all.
I probably would have been fired, before the whole thing had finished shooting.
….
I thought Cleo’s idea of “Fun Crazy” sounded like… well… fun.
That is, until Cleo’s idea of fun turned out to be too much like being gun crazy.
“Gun Lazy” just didn’t go anywhere.
And “Gum Crazy” was a bit of a stretch.
…
I don’t know where you came up with the idea of puns!
After all, I’m… uh… not too familiar with them.
But it seems to have worked out great!
A young Lesley Gore’s feminist anthem.

I’m a fan of Kelly Freas’ work. I have a signed art book by him.

Wonderful choice of music tonight.
it’s always fun to listen to the classics!
Good one, Happy!
I first read about the drumming technique in Frank Herbert’s “Dune.”
I thought it was a plot point. Who knew?
As Dennis said….
OMG! OMG!
Son of a gun!!
I’m sorry I’m so late…. and I’m not dressed up.. so glad the theater is virtual.
Oh Stel! I had no idea this was showing tonight!
I thought I’d at least get a warning shot.
But thank you!
Making the movie was a barrel of fun.
….
I didn’t get home tonight till well after 10pm, dragging my tail…
I’d run several errands by the time I got to the Wednesday Night Market.
That’s the farmer’s market where I used to help sell tomatoes…
Now I go to look for produce, though these days there are more craft and hot food vendors than farmers.
After a 2 year hiatus for Covid-19, it’s come back a tiny shadow of itself…
The city has only allowed space for it to be all clustered in one area, so it’s much smaller, but all the parking is farther away.
A lot of walking.
…
After that I still had to go to the grocery store —
so I fell asleep a few minutes after I got in through the doggy door…. and I just woke up.
(I guess I should have written all that as bullet points.
Oh well… who’s gonna fire me?)
…
What a cool poster….
Not to be confused with all you cool posters…
Cleofans are the coolest!
Hey, Stel, when you shot that photo, I didn’t know my skirt was torn like that. How embarrassing. Thigh….
…
And wow — how did you get that shot of my hotel room on location?
Maybe it was when someone else was staying there…
cos I swear that’s not my cigarette…
I don’t smoke… only my pistols smoke.
…
I’m not trying to skirt the issue…
But I gotta split for a little while.
I hafta put on something more appropriate for the occasion…
this old dress is shot!
And maybe powder my nose…
..
Thanks again, Stel!

It works just fine for me.
As its lead says, “So cute.”
