Burrowing owls. They really don’t burrow. They like to move into tortoise burrows. Occasionally you can find them sharing. Especially when it’s hot out.
Before I went there, I thought the casinos provided cute little distractions like this, free to draw in the tourists. I was very disappointed when I got there, not only only was there a fee; it was ridiculous. (I don’t recall how much it was)
They’re the ones I found. First run through, found eight, second run through, found the ninth, couldn’t spot the tenth. Left it for an hour or so, found the tenth. Rarely find all ten without your assistance though.
It’s wearing a mockery of the extreme poodle cuts they get for dog shows….
Shaved almost bald, with a big ruff around the base of its long skinny neck.
You can also see a smaller ruff on each stick-like ankle, and a bit of fluff on the end of its tail.
We can’t see its head, because it’s hidden behind the tall white Borzoi (aka Russian Wolfhound) in front of it, which is drawn with rather distorted perspective, low tail nearest us, thin pointy nose high in the air.

The artist has kind of tilted the floor, which we see as though looking down at it, with the dog shadows clear, even though the dogs themselves are not in an aerial view.

Not sure what you’re calling a snake, unless it’s all or part of the borzoi…
Or perhaps the brown stick(?) or whatever between the whiteish Afghan hound and the German shepherd.
I’m not sure what that is… I’d think too long and far away to be the poodle’s nose, and not quite the same color.
I thought it was a leash on the Afghan, but it doesn’t seem to be attached… and why would only one dog be leashed?
